Robby POV

The flight took about 13 hours, so it was actually calm and peaceful.

When I arrived, I rented a hotel room for a few weeks, and then, I wrote a letter to Sam, apologizing for what I had done, and telling her I would be coming back soon.

Hopefully she would write back soon.

I then set out to find a dojo.

Karate originated in Japan. There must be one somewhere.

After a bit of searching, I actually found one called Miyag-Do Karate. I decided to take a look.

Hopefully it would be better than the one in California.

I eventually met the sensei, whose name was Chozen Toguchi. I told him my story, and he told me his, about his sensei, Sato, Mr. Miyagi, and Mr. LaRusso.

"So you want to learn Miyagi-Do" he asked.

I nodded.

"Let's see what you know first."

Since I didn't have a gi with me at the time, he let me borrow one.

We got into our fighting stance, and I attacked first. I launched punch after punch at him, but he blocked them all. He somehow numbed my legs with his bare hands and flipped me over.

"First lesson. If an enemy is waging war against you, you must take their ability to wage war."

He showed me the pressure points technique, and I soon mastered it.

He then asked me what I wanted to learn. I told him that I wanted him to teach me everything about Miyagi-Do Karate and keep no secrets from me. He agreed and trained me for a total of two months. We practiced and I learned a new technique every day. I practiced and practiced until even Chozen himself needed help sparring against me most of the time. I even learned the deadly parts, and Chozen said that at this point, I could probably kill somebody if I tried.

I'll admit that he taught me a lot more than Mr. LaRusso did.

I learned everything about karate, how to use kamas, the sai, and the bo.

Defense comes in many forms, he taught me. Sometimes, the best defense is offense, but other times, you have to let the enemy come to you.

I found that very useful.

After the two months, Chozen showed me all the Miyagi artifacts. We studied them and trained for a couple more days, until I said my goodbyes to him and went off to book a flight back to LA.

I wanted to see what I had missed in all this time.

Daniel POV

We searched for him all over town. Practically everybody helped, except for Cobra Kai. I visited their dojo, but Johnny wasn't there. Something about being "out of town for a while".

I asked if he knew where Robby was, and he said that he didn't.

I left and then booked a flight to Tokyo, because I needed to go there for a business meeting.

Things weren't going very good for LaRusso Automotive. My business rival, Tom Cole, had gotten Doyona International (the company that supplies the cars) to cut the contract on us. He offered to buy the dealership, but I said no. Now, I had to go to Tokyo to convince Doyona to continue our contract.

When I got there, Doyona wasn't very convinced to continue the contract, so they gave me a week to come up with a new contract that would satisfy them.

I decided to go to Okinawa and try to find some balance, so that I could come up with a plan for the new contract.

On the way, I met Kumiko and Chozen. I made amends with Chozen, and I sparred with him a bit, but he proved that I had much to learn, and that Mr. Miyagi didn't teach me everything about karate.

There was a much deadlier form of Miyagi-Do Karate. Chozen taught me the pressure point technique, and that the Miyagi ancestors had to kill when invaders arrived.

One time, he showed me some of the Miyagi artifacts, and when I tried reading one of them, he said that I couldn't.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because you are a foreigner. You cannot steal our secrets. Not after I already told them to another one."

"Who?"

"There was an American boy who came here, saying he wanted to learn everything about Miyagi-Do, even the deadlier forms. I agreed and taught him everything I knew in a span of two months. He left about a week before you came."

"What was his name?" I asked.

"He said his name was Robby Keene."
