Robby POV

The next day, I walked into the dojo a few minutes before practice, and I asked for a Cobra Kai gi. 

Kyler smirked. "So, you are joining?" 

I nodded. "I guess this is the right place for me." 

Tory gave me a gi, and we waited until Sensei Kreese and Sensei Silver walked in to begin. 

Kreese smiled when he saw me. 

"So you're here." 

"I want to get back at Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang for what two of them did to me." 

"Good. You're angry at them. Very good." 

I chuckled. "Let's begin." Silver said. 

Timeskip

Daniel POV

"We've been here five minutes and I already see five people I hate." Amanda said. 

"Yeah, it's Christmas time, all right." I agreed.

Tradition is tradition, I thought. 

"Let's just hope Anthony doesn't get kicked out of another sleepover."

"Well, Santa has a big ol' bag of coal for him if he does." 

"I'm gonna go grab a table. You grab me a drink." 

"Yeah. I'm on it." 

"Merry Christmas, Brett. The usual for me and Amanda." I said to Brett, the bartender. 

"Thanks. Coming right up." 

I was lost in thoughts until I saw a familiar person. 

Ali Mills-Schwarber. 

Robby POV

"When fighting, it helps to know the enemy's playbook. Which is why I'm going to teach you Miyagi-Do Karate. The stuff I learned when I was in Okinawa, and what Mr. LaRusso taught me." I explained. 

"There is one weakness, though. Miyagi-Do is for 'defense only', and when they make errors, we can go on the offensive, and set traps for them." Kreese said. 

I smiled. "Now, we may have taken some losses, but it's not about how you start. It's about how you finish." 

After practice, Tory and Kyler said that they were going to go beat up the Miyagi-Do kids. 

They invited me to come, but I said maybe another time. 

Kyler frowned at this. "I thought you said you wanted to get back at them." 

"I know, but I'm just not feeling it this time." 

Tory sighed. "Fine, then. I'll see you tomorrow." 

Daniel POV

"Daniel with an L! O my God!" Ali exclaimed. 

"Ali, is it really you?" I asked. 

"I think so." 

"Wow, I was hoping that I would run into you one day. It's funny that it's here, though." 

"Right." 

"The kid from Reseda, a member of the club." 

"Yeah, well, there's no more sneaking around the kitchen. It's so good to see you." 

"Yeah. I just have so many questions. Johnny, come here. You remember Johnny Lawrence?" 

"How can I forget?"
