Chapter 14: Arguments

Edd and Matt were shocked to see Tord in a uniform at the entrance of the base.

"Tord..?" Edd says softly, feeling betrayed as Oliver kept his grip onto Edd.

"–Its Red Leader to you, Edward." Tord says with venom in his tone.

"Oliver, Lucifer, put these two in the dungeon for now."

"Yes sir." They both said in sync as they hoist up Edd and Matt.
Edd squirmed a bit while Matt kept whining.
They took Edd and Matt to the dungeon, tord following them.
Tossing the two in one cell.
They locked it up.

"Excellent, you two are dismissed now."
They both nodded there heads and walked off.

"WHERES TOM!"Edd shouted out with tears rolling down his face.
Matt remained quiet, silently crying.

Tord laughed insanely as he places his robotic hand on one of the cells bars.

Two guards appeared as they stood next to the cells entrance, remaining calm and composure.

"Well, he's with me Edd." Tord grinned.
Edd's eyes widen as tears rolled down his cheeks.

"With you..?" Edd croaked out as his head lowered.

"Yes, with me Edd. He's my partner."
Matt sniffled quietly as he backed up farther in the cell, hugging his knees. Edd quickly raised his head in surprise.

"He doesn't even know you're here!" Tord beamed out crazily as he raised his arms.
Laughing.

Tord kneeled down and placed his hand through the bars, gripping onto Edd's jaw. Forcing them to make eye contact.

"And he won't know when you're, gone."
Tord says empathizing the word.

Suddenly Matt and Edd's face expressed fear.

"Gone?..what d-do you mean, gone?" Matt asked bravely. Hands starting to shake. A tear drops down on his purple hoodie.

Tord grinned like a mad man and whispered.

"Dead."

The cellmates gasped in surprise.
"TORD! You wouldnt!–"
Edd screams out as he starts to breakdown, scared.

Tords eyes remained cold. He narrowed them. "I would! Besides, you're in MY WAY!" Tord shouts at his old friend.
"My way of my plans. I don't need friends. I need the world in my hands."

Edd sobbed as he lowered his head. "Tom will find out.. he'll hate you.. he might even kill you too.."

Tord scoffed. "I have a way that he won't know. Remember?"

Edd suddenly felt confused.
"–But, you don't need to know that part of my plan. All you have to do, is wait for your deaths. Tom might even witness it."

Edd looked up. "But then, he'll know–"
Tord cut him off, slamming his robotic arm on the cell.

"OR! I CAN HURT HIM TOO! YES, yes... If I hurt Thomas too, get him into a coma! He would think it's a, a dream...."
Tord says, coldly.

Edd flinched as he sobbed. He backed up in the cell and hugged Matt.

"Now, all you have to do, is wait. Goodbye old friends, see you another time." Tord says as he nodded at the two guards.
He swiftly turned around, his cape swaying as he walked out of the dungeon.

A guard looked over at the sobbing cellmates. "Shut up or we won't hesitate on shooting you early."

Edd and Matt widen there eyes and immediately silencing their sobs. Quietly holding each other.
