The Mustaine brothers...ah...how to explain the Mustaine brothers? Dave Mustaine and his sister Zoe Mustaine, the most chaotic young duo in San Francisco.
The Mustaine family has lived in the same poor and noisy house for more than a decade and is the most mentioned in the small neighborhood in the abandoned suburb they live in San Francisco. The neighborhood talks about them because they hate the Mustaine brothers.
Zoe Scott Mustaine, 18 years old, and the youngest daughter of Emily and John Mustaine.
David Scott Mustaine, 21 years old, the oldest son of Emily and John Mustaine.
Emily and John Mustaine are extremely conservative American parents who, to tell you the truth, shouldn't even be parents because they never cared about their children, they only gave them what was necessary, which was food and shelter, and thought everything was fine.
Zoe and Dave grew up with a chaotic family, a family without love, a family full of fights. Parents who never cared about them, who never gave them love or parties on Christmas nights, who never gave them presents or birthday parties, who never went to school presentations. And that's why Dave and Zoe grew up as troublemakers and today they are young rebels and hard to deal with.
In the Mustaine house there was never any affection. When they were kids, Dave and Zoe grew up in an unprepared home, with two parents who became deeply bitter throughout their lives, a common everyday life with common jobs and many couple fights that resulted in a stressed out mother and an alcoholic father who is never at home or at least puts money inside the house.
The childhood of the Mustaine brothers was joyless. Their entire lives they were tossed around, put into school only when they reached the mandatory age and never built up trust in their parents, never received hugs from their parents, who also never cared about homework, injuries, tastes, personality or any phase of the children.
That's why today Dave and Zoe want to get out of their parents' house as soon as possible.
What has happened is that time has passed and the children have grown up. And since they were extremely lonely and unloved by their parents all their childhood, Zoe and Dave became inseparable siblings. They grew up together, played together, studied together, went to school together, one always protecting the other, and Dave, being older, was always hyper-protective with little Zoe, who now is not so little anymore.
Zoe graduated at the beginning of the month, in July 1982, and now she is just celebrating, not knowing what to do, which college to go to, because her parents never cared about the future and education, but since their children reached the teenage years they demanded that they work to help at home. And that's what Dave did, since he was a teenager he works in a diner to help with the bills and to buy food, and now he also plays in a band called Metallica but that still doesn't give him any money.
