Ch2: Hazy Dream

"Miranda... Miranda, time to get up! You have a big day ahead of you!" Ishizu said, gently waking the young girl up.

Miranda then began to slowly wake up.

Big day...? What is she talking about...? That... That's right!!! Today, I'll be dueling against Atem!!! I... I'm so nervous. What should I wear...? Will him and I still have that father-daughter relationship during the duel...? I know that it's stressful to be thrown into a duel like this against the older version of my boyfriend that I claim as my father. Speaking of him, I also haven't heard from Atarya or Yugi this morning. Are they alright...? Are they getting ready for this duel...? What... What have I done? A... Atarya... A... Atem, if you both can hear me, I am so sorry. Please forgive me... She said to herself after she was dressed in a white t-shirt, black pants and black boots.

The millennium ball was around her neck and as she was admiring her cute pigtails in the mirror, it began to glow and Yama came out in translucent form.

"Sorry I'm late, Miranda. Yami and I were discussing last minute plans for the duel and I think that you'll like what Daddy Yami has in store for you." She said, in an explanation.

Miranda smiled.

"Whatever Daddy has planned is going to help." She said, with a wink after making sure that the millennium ball was around her neck, which it was.

Miranda then began to head out of the room and downstairs into the kitchen.

When Miranda got downstairs, someone began to cover her eyes.

"Guess who!!!" An ecstatic voice said, while being blindly led towards the dining room table.

Miranda smiled.

She could instantly recognize the voice.

"Mrs. Hunter?" Miranda said, with a giggle.

Mrs. Hunter smiled.

"Yep! You got that correct!" She said, excitedly as the young girl was now being sat down at the table.

While Miranda was sitting there with her eyes covered by the short teacher who was sitting next to her, she could feel someone putting something on around her neck.

"No!!! Don't take Atarya away from me!!!" She yelled, hoping that whatever was happening now would stop.

Mrs. Hunter and Ishizu looked at each other.

"Miranda, calm down. We're not going to take Atarya away from you..." Mrs. Hunter said, reassuringly as Ishizu was placing the scones and the baby bottle of Egyptian milk that Atem, well... Yami told her to set out onto the table in front of Miranda.

"Yes, Miranda. Don't worry. I'm just doing what Yami told me to do. Alright? Now... Open your eyes!" Ishizu said, now nodding at Mrs. Hunter and motioning for her to remove her hands from the young girl's eyes.

Mrs. Hunter did so and when Miranda opened her eyes and looked down, she was surprised.

For one thing, she was already wearing a diaper because of her incontinence problem and now, on top of it, she wears a baby bib whenever she eats because she drools.

Also, now, she was going to be drinking out of a baby bottle because her Littlespace father Yami Yugi has her on some sort of ancient Egyptian milk, which actually helps her with her strength and mind.
