Ch1: Wrath Of Anubis

Miranda Fawkner, the Queen of Games was in her room, sleeping with the thought of the duel in Giza, Egypt in her head.

As she was sleeping, the millennium ball began to glow, causing Atarya to come out in translucent form.

Atarya was wearing the exact same thing that Miranda was wearing, which was a white t-shirt, blue shorts and white socks.

She decided to come over to her and watch the young girl as she slept.

Meanwhile, the blue puzzle that was on the book shelf began to glow and out came Anubis but, in a dark purple-black shadowy form.

He watched the Pharaoh Queen as she was watching her younger version sleep.

Atarya's millennium ball glowed gold and dark purple and on her forehead appeared the Eye of Udjat.

She could sense that something dark and evil was around and that whatever it was, it was nearby.

Anubis snickered and began to disappear into dark purple-black magic.

He then slithered around the room and rematerialized beside Miranda's bed.

Anubis was sitting in the chair that was meant for whenever Yugi came over.

Atarya looked away from Miranda for just a moment and looked at the ancient being that was the same age as her and her husband Atem.

She was surprised.

"Well... Well... Well...! Atarya... Long time no see. It's been about almost 6,000 years since we last met." Anubis said, with a red glare in his eyes.

"Yes and you're still trouble today. What are you even doing here? I'm very good at watching Miranda during the night so, you don't need to do that job." Atarya said, being very protective of her light.

Anubis began to remember his plan.

"It's high time that I pay Miranda back for the trick that she pulled at the duel with Kaiba and the Pharaoh!" He said, in an explanation as his dark magic was powering up.

Atarya then remembered the duel with Kaiba and Atem.

She knew that Miranda wanted to help Atem so, she had to find a card in her deck that would help him and fast...

Miranda then remembered what card it was.

When Miranda told Kaiba and Atem what she was going to do with the trap card, both of them had shocked looks on their faces but, Atem knew exactly why she was doing this.
