Ch3: Home Visit Pt 1

"Miranda...? Miranda... Wake up! It's time to go to school." PaniK said, gently waking the young girl up.

Miranda gasped for breath when she felt really really wet.

"Easy, Miranda. Easy..." PaniK said, wanting to help her but, he didn't know how.

Miranda slowly sat up in bed and as she sat up, she began to feel really dizzy.

PaniK was now beginning to see how badly hurt Miranda was.

"Y... Yugi, pl... please please h... Please help! I... I barely have enough strength to get up..." Miranda said, feeling sore all of a sudden.

Really really sore...

PaniK sighed in defeat as he saw the tears that were in the young girl's eyes.

"Alright, Miranda... I understand how much pain you are in from what happened last night. Trust me, Miranda... I heard you crying out last night in your sleep really bad so, I'm deciding to let you stay home from school today since you didn't get enough sleep last night and also since you are in so much pain..." He said, in sympathy.

Miranda had tears in her eyes as she was standing there, with her droopy wet diaper sagging towards the floor and the cold hitting her knee caps causing pain.

She looked at him and smiled a sad smile.

PaniK smiled.

"You get some rest now, Miranda. I'll be right downstairs if you need anything." He said, before leaving the young girl to get changed.

Miranda gave him a faint thumbs up before he left.

After PaniK closed the door and left, she sighed.

How could this day get any better but better yet, worse...?

Half of the day has passed and still no sign of Miranda.

Yami was translucent beside Yugi as they all were talking about Miranda.

"Miranda's not like this, Yuge! She comes to school everyday." Joey said, with concern in his voice.

Yugi nodded his head yes in agreement.

"You're right, Joey. Miranda always does come to school. She would never miss a day." He said, before looking at Yami.
