Janet POV
"Toni! We're gonna be late, hurry up!" I shouted from the bottom of the stairs.
"Don't yell at me!" She shouted back while waddling down the stairs.
"I'm sorry honey, but we are going to be late" I said, immediately changing my Tone.
"You have my snacks?"
"Yes mama, they're in the car, now can we go before we're late?"
She nodded and smiled before pecking my lips. She's so cute.
I made sure we had everything before helping Toni to the car. Once she was settled in, I jogged around to my side.
The car ride wasn't that long. It consisted of Toni listening to super freaky girl for the whole entire drive.
"HE WANT A F-R-EEEE-A-K" She rapped along with the song.
I couldn't help but nod my head along with the beat. The song was catchy.
After about 15 minutes we arrived at the Doctors. I got out and helped Toni, then we made our way inside.
Once inside, we signed in and took a seat next to the entrance.
Another guy came in and took a seat in front of us. It was fine until he started staring at us with a disgusted look on his face. Oh he got a problem?
To tick him off some more, I gently grabbed Toni's jaw and pulled her in for a nasty ass kiss.
Him clearing his throat caused us to pull apart.
"Can we help you nigga?" I bleated, clearly annoyed. Toni looked like she was trying to hold in her laugh.
"You know, you shouldn't do that kind of stuff in public. Kids could be watching and no one wants that stuff to rub off-
"Please shut the fuck up, no one cares"
"I'm just saying-
"Well please don't, your voice is starting to annoy me"
He grumbled something under his breath.
"Say it with ya chest big dawg"
He huffed but didn't say anything else after that. That's what the fuck I thought.
After a few more minutes, we were finally called to the back.
I got up and mugged the man before we made our way to the back.
Once we were inside the room, I helped Toni up on the table before pulling up a seat next to her.
"Now Janet why you did that man like that?"
"He started with me, looking like he had a damn problem"
"You gone quit starting stuff in public with these people, Janet" Toni stated, pointing her finger at me.
