A soft melody from a piano slowly brought me to my senses

A soft melody from a piano slowly brought me to my senses. Each note was executed perfectly, one after the other. The piano was soothing but the silence that followed after was even better.

BANG

The person playing the elegant instrument slammed onto the keys, making an unpleasant sound echo throughout the room. Where was I?

Where are we? It's cold.. so cold..

"Techno?" Tommy whispered. "I'm so sorry if I scared you. I was just watching a video of you practicing the piano. Remember when you would get up so early in the morning just to play that thing? Hah! I could never," He took a breath in and bit his lip. "I saw you flinch.. damn! I knew something was wrong with my ears."

"Wh- Where's Kristin? Where's Phil?" I ask weakly. "H- How is Wil?"

Tommy relaxed back down in his chair. "Not worried about me, I see. It's not like I woke up so early to run all the way over here."

"Don't be ridiculous.." I smiled. "You couldn't run, even if your life depended on it."

"Wow, rude. But you're right," Tommy admitted. "I wouldn't run if my life depended on it. However, I would run around the world twice if my family was hurt."

What's his deal?

I shake the unsettling choir of voices off. "That's sweet.."

There was a short silence before Tommy spoke, "That's all you're gonna say?" I don't answer. "Well, you aren't feeling well, so I'll let you go this time."

"I- I'm sorry, Tom.." I let my eyes close. I don't know what was happening to me, but it definitely was not good.

"Techno? Techno!" Tommy held onto my shoulders tightly, and began to shake my body. "Wake up! Wake up!"

WHAT IS THIS KID'S DEAL?! WE ARE TRYING TO REST.

"SHUT UP!" I yell out loud, making Tommy let go. His face said everything. He was scared. What is happening to me? I never act like this. My vision started to blur and everything started to circle around me. I felt like I was going to puke.

The next thing I knew.. It was dark, and I was alone.

Two hours Earlier...

We've been sitting in silence for what felt like an eternity. He, Billiam, wouldn't speak. He would just stare out of the large window, and wouldn't stop tapping the armrest attached to the chair. I've had enough of this nonsense, so I stood up and began to walk towards the door.

Before I could touch the handle, Billiam spoke. "Wil, where do you think you're going?"

"I'm leaving," I responded. "You're just wasting my time."
