It wasn't long till I heard a playful knock on the door. "Come in Wil," I say not taking my eyes off of Nick's information.

"Hey Y/N," Wilbur greets while rubbing his eyes. "Everyone's going home-"

My head turns towards the tall man. "Are you saying you don't want to help me?"

Wilbur straightens his long dark brown collar on his favourite coat. The coat went down to his knees and Wilbur was really tall, around 6'3 so if I wore his coat. Heh, I would look like a pile of laundry.

Wilbur's expression saddens. "No! Uh- I mean no. Don't you hate being alone?"

I bring my attention back to Nick's folder. "I actually prefer being alone. But that doesn't mean I want to do things myself. And even if I did, why are you here?" Wilbur opens his mouth but soon closes it. "That's what I thought," I say confidently. "Now, help me find Alex's folder."

"O- Okay.. That's what you called me back up here for anyway," Wilbur stutters as he takes off his coat. He was wearing a grey sweater that was a little baggy on him but not too big that it looked uncomfortable. He also wore black jeans that were ripped around the mid-thigh area and knees, as an extra touch to his outfit, Wilbur wore his favourite pair of white shoes.

After roughly half an hour with no success Wilbur asked. "Why do you even care about this Alex guy?"

"I care because unlike you men, I did some extra digging," I close the folders I left open and place them into a Shoppers bag that was conveniently left behind by someone. "Let's take a little break then I'll show you the evidence. Remind me."

Wilbur scoffs then crosses his arms. "Alright, fair enough. Unlike you women, I don't waste time on scumbags."

"Hm.. you're right. I should just ask the boss for a new partner. Like you said, I spend way too much time with scumbags." I snicker trying my best to keep a straight face.

"Wait, are you actually going to ask him?" Wilbur asks as he uncrosses his arms, mouth agape. "Please don't. Everyone else is so weird, well not weird. They're just not as laid back as you, y'know?"

I tried to stop myself from smiling but of course it didn't work, so in hopes of saving myself I took big strides towards the confused male. Wilbur's face was slowly turning into a deep shade of red. "Alright, I won't ask for a new partner. You're kinda useful — sometimes."

Our attention was directed to a loud crashing at the door. "Oh god," A feminine voice said followed by a click. "This is going to the group chat for sure!"

"No!" My instincts made me throw myself into the female, knocking her over. "Where is it?" I picked up a black rectangle, which I assume was her phone. "Aha!" A soft crunching noise came from the phone, meaning that the photo was deleted. "Deleted, and defeated." I throw the phone to Wilbur who caught it professionally with a smirk plastered on his face.

"Ow.. What the fuck.." The woman under me grumbled. She had long brown hair with thick mascara and eye shadow, not to mention she looked pissed. The horns were basically coming out of her head at this point.

"Woah! Uh- Minx! I thought you were going home early today.." I mumble, and help Minx up as she rubs the back of her head.

"What the fuck Y/N? I could've shown the ladies some good stuff." She snatches the phone off of the table.

Wilbur brought in an ice-pack from the break room and handed it to Minx. "Sorry about that, Minx."

The angered woman turned to me. "Oh piss off! And to answer your question, I did go home early. You nosy twats." Her eyes darted between me and Wilbur.
"Do you and your boyfriend always come here early just to fuck? You know there is a thing called a bedroom."Minx questions, making quotation marks with her hands.

I close my eyes, trying to calm myself down. "No," I open my eyes and stare back at Minx. "No, we don't. We're not even in a relationship." The tension in the small room was building up, and I didn't like the vibe. "..What time is it?"

"I think she comes into the office around six or seven, maybe we stayed up all night," Wilbur leans closer to my ear. "Can't trust me though, I am a scumbag."
