Hide and...Run?

This is my first official request by one of you guys, they're user is SbSimp and I wanna thank you all for being so loving and understanding! Anyways, enjoy!

No one came to the daycare today. I guess there was some kind of regulation broke or something. I don't know, I was in and out of sleep when I heard the muffled voices of Sundrop and a guard talking outside in the daycare.

When I finally decide to wake up I skip down the stairs for breakfast. "Morning kiddo! How'd you sleep?" I smile and wave, jumping up onto a stool. "Good! Who was the guard?... I didn't recognize them.." He smiles and lags my head, grabbing a bowl, cereal, and milk. "That's the new Guard for the plaza. She's just looking around and getting associated with the animatronics, rooms, and what we do around here." I nod and hum as he places the bowl of cereal down, with a spoon, in front of me. I pick the spoon up and start scooping out the milky cereal, scaring it down. "Now slow down Y/n, we have plentiful time to hangout. One of the animatronics broke down and destroyed some of the others. We got a notice for it and the animatronics are being fixed." I frown and finish my food. "Is Roxy okay?" He sighs and shakes his head. "The broken ankmatronic got her pretty good. Broke through her metal body and left an opening for the wires to spark in her shoulder, cut some of them too. Messed her hardwear up, her system, and she powered down. They suspect her chip got banged up during it all too." I nod slowly and get down off the stool. "Hey, how about we play some hide and seek? Get your mind off it all, y'know?" I gasp and smile, clapping my hands and nodding. "Alrighty, I'll count and you hide. Since we're closed today hide anywhere IN the main area. Nothing on the top floors or you might get lost, but I can leave the daycare unattended for fun today." I nod and smile as he turns around and starts counting. I giggle and run off out of the daycare.

I'm sat there for 10, maybe 15 minutes, quiet and in a dark corner of the arcade before I hear the door creak open and light pour in from the main plaza. I giggle and cover my mouth, snickering. I watch a shadow come into view as they turn the lights on, but I quickly notice that it's not Sundrop.. It's the new Guard. I get even quieter than before, not knowing if she knows who I am or why I'm here. She walks around for a while but eventually the dust behind the game I'm hiding behind starts to tickle my nose. I try to hold my sneeze, pinching my nose, holding g my breath, sracthing the tingling sensation, but nothing seems to work as I let out a soft, dust enduced sneeze. The guard turns her head the the game and slowly approaches. "Who goes there...? We're  ot open, you shouldn't be here!" Now I'm sure she doesn't know why I'm here or who I am. I try to crawl out from behind the machine to explain but she grabs my wrist, pulling me out. I wince, trying to pull my arm back from the pain. "Hey!- Let me go, that hurts!!" She picks me up, not listening to my words as my side aches from the not so gentle touch. "What're you doing here kid?! Where's your parents!" I frown and try to push her off me, squirming and wiggling, but this only causes more pain to jab me in the side and down my hip. Tears start to swell and I keep trying to get her off me. "Please- Your hurting me! I can explain everything, we just gotta find Sunny-" She ignores my cries and starts to bring me to the main exit. "Yeah yeah, you can come back tomorrow and see Mr. Sundrop kid. Your not allowed in when we're closed! How'd you even get through the doors in the first place!" As I watch the doors get closer to view I panic and bite her arm. She drops me, hollering and holding her arm, turning to face me, however I've already started running. "Sunny! You win games over, where are you!?" She grunts and starts chasing after me.

Eventually I get away from her and I start to quietly roam the pizza plex, so iffling and wiping my tears with the shirt sleeve. "Sunny...? Moony?.... Anyone....? I-.. I wanna go home.... I don't wanna play anymore..." There's a low laugh from the shadows of a hall and I freeze looking down into the corridor. "M-...Moon...? Please tell me that's you..." I watch a pair of star glasses, reflecting the light from the halls, fall to the floor as they shine, uncovering red glowing eyes. I back up a little, the safety rails stopping me from going any further. The glowing eyes start to approach, they start out slow but pick up speed decently quick. I watch Monty come flying out of the corridor and I brace myself. I don't know for what but I just cover my face, but nothing happens. There's a quiet sound of struggling as I open one of my eyes, putting my arms down when I see Sundrop holding Monty's arms. "Y/n, get to the daycare...NOW." I stand in shock, trying to gather my words. "Monty- I- He- Is he?-" Sundrop turns his head over his shoulder. "Yes, he's the malfunction animtronic, now get to the daycare before he kills us BOTH." My body snaps out of the state of shock it was in and I nod, running down the stairs and to the daycare. I hide under a blanket, sobbing and trying to block out the yells and screams from the fighting. I eventually fall asleep, but when the daycare door opens, I awaken to it. Fear, worry, and concern filling my tiny, exhausted body. Relief fills me as I see Sundrop walk in, unharmed. He kneels down to my level and looks me in the eye, a stern voice breaking my relief. "Y/n, I told you not to go up on the second level...You did so anyways.. What on EARTH were you thinking? You could've gotten injured or sock- Or worse, dead." I start shaking and break down again, hugging him. "I'm sorry! I wasn't trying to misbehave- the Guard lady- she found me in the arcade and she tried to kick me out.." His tense and stiff animatronic body seems to soften as he hugs me. "Hey, hey, it's okay... I'm sorry, I'm not mad at you, I'm just worried..Why didn't you come get me?" He tries to pull away to look me in the eye however I refus d to let go sad I just hug him tighter. "I tried to but I couldn't find you- And I know you said not to go upstairs but I thought maybe you couldn't find me and went upstairs just incase- and she wasn't listening... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause trouble...!" He pats my back, hashing me and trying to get me to calm down. "What were you saying that she wasn't hearing?..." I sit back on my legs and pull my sleeve up, the bruise now with a white hand print from the grip of the Guard. Sundrop frowns, a small but unknown sound coming from him. He stands up and reaches his hand out for me to take. "Is there anything else...?" I think for a minute before nodding, explaining that she was pulling me and dragging me then picked me up when I put up a struggle, and how she wasn't listening when I was telling her my side hurt. Sundrop takes my hand and holds it, even after I get up, and guides me out to the main area. The guard is getting done looking around and is standing in the center. "Oh you found them- perfect, sorry for the inconvenience, I tried getting them out but they-" Sundrop cuts her off and I hide behind him, not liking the women approaching us. "You can stop right there right now. You are NOT touching this kid, you got that? And if I EVER hear you laid a FINGER on them again, ESPECIALLY when they said no, MULTIPLE times and offered explanations, I will make SURE you lose this job, one way or another, goddammit. Impact, touch ANY of the kids when they say no and I'll RUIN your career, are we CLEAR?" The women is shocked and takes a step back. I look up at Sundrop who is staring this girl down. She gulps and nods. "Y-Yessir..." Sundrop carefully picks me up and nods. "Good. Neither of us would like what would happen if you didn't." He turns around and leaves the girl in shock, going back to the daycare. He brings me up to his backstage room and sets me on the couch. "You okay...? You need a drink? A snack? Maybe a blanket?" I nod and little, still in shock that Sundrop was..Mad... He was genuinely angry. "Blanket, please..." He gets up and nods, heading down to the main area before returning not 5 minutes later with a fluffy blanket. "Your side okay?.. How about your wrist? Nothings broken rkght?? Monty didn't hurt you." I shake my head no and cover up with the blanket he hands me. "Just aches a little is all..." He nods and pats my head, humming. "That's good. You should try to get some rest, I'll sit here with you, okay?" I nod anday back on the couch as Sundrop just sits and watches me. "I'm sorry I didn't find you sooner Kiddo.." I shrug, tired and yawning. "It'so okay..Sunny.. Goodnight.." He pats my head again and in the warmth and safety of the blanket and Sundrops watchful eye, I fall asleep.
