Xiao x Aether oneshots <3

"Hey Aether, are you okay? You look tired."

Aether slightly jumps at Venti's sudden voice in his ear and lets out a small yelp, which draws the entire classes attention towards him.

"Aether, is something wrong?" The teacher calls, pausing the lesson which draws even more attention to Aether.

"Ah, nothing. Sorry professor"

"Next time you want to gossip with Venti, try not to disturb the class." He clicks his tongue in disapproval, turning back towards the board to continue the lesson.

Aether's cheeks redden in embarassment as he avoids the last of the students intimidating gazes, they turn back towards the front.

Thank god he chose a seat at the back.

Aether finally manages to look to his side, only to see Venti silently laughing so hard he was almost falling off his chair.

"Ha, dude-"

"I know, i knowww"

"That was freakin hilarious! The way you jumped 10 feet in the air, HA-"

"venti." The professor calls once again.

"Ah, sorry..."

The embarassed look on Venti's face and his pink cheeks make Aether laugh this time.

Venti is quite adorable, being an adult but still wearing braids and having blue and green hair. (Not that Aether can say much, considering his long blonde braid trailing down his back.)

"For the last time Thoma, shut it."

Thoma giggles in his seat at the front, clearly not regretting his constant disturbance.

"Yeah Thoma, nobody gives a doggystyle damn about your little crush on Aether" Scaramouche rolls his eyes as the entire classes eyes fall to Aether.

"W-what, how did you?-"

"Oh please, I hear everything you whisper."

Stress and anxiety cloud Thoma's mind and its evident in his eyes. Scaramouche continues, staring mindlessly into his book.

"I can name at least 4 people in this class that have a crush on Aether. Seems he's quite popular with both the men and ladies."

Aether and Venti look as confused as professor Xiao is.

"And i also couldn't help but overhear your conversation with Ayato. OMg AETHeRs So fInE, Id GiVe AnyThInG To ToUcH His HaiR." Scara says, mimicking Thoma's earlier conversation.

Scaramouche's eyes are still buried in his book, it doesnt even look like hes reading it at this point.

The professor clears his throat and continues the lecture once again.

"Psst, Aether"

"Hm?" Venti drags Aether out of his daze as he stares into the blondes eyes.

"Woah, you didn't levitate off your chair this time when i called you."

Aether clicks his tongue in disapproval at the exaggeration.

"You seem so out of it today, what are you staring at?"

Venti looks in the direction that Aether's unmoved eyes are focusing on, only to see him staring at their professor (and lecturer), while mindlessly drawing little hearts on his notebook.

"Oooo, Aether's got a little crush on the professorrr"

"NO I DON'T"

"Aether, Venti, see me after class. Both of you."

Venti's snickering finally quiets down as once again, the whole class is staring at Aether and Venti. None of them look like they heard exactly what Venti said.

Well... none except scaramouche.

His dark blue eyes dart between Aether and professor Xiao before resting back to his book, probably plotting something evil in his head.

Aether facepalms himself while Venti heaves a heavy sigh.

Another 15 minutes into the lesson, 5 minutes before Aether can get out of this hellhole, the only good thing about this long class being his sexy teacher.

His previous attempts at paying attention were discarded by Hu Tao distractingly playing with her rings, spinning them on the table, flicking them and occasionally dropping them as well. Aether was now watching the hands on the clock tick, Intently staring at it on the back wall, (which if it wasn't for his amazing eyesight, he probably wouldn't be able to see it at the other end of the massive room.)

Finally, Xiao sighs and dismisses the class.

"Aether, you're staring again"

"Oh, sorry Venti."

Aether gets up, about to walk out before getting stopped by their teacher.

"Where are you two going? You realise you're both in trouble, right?"

"Ah, shit" venti moans while rubbing his eyes.

The two of them tiredly walk up to the professors desk at the front of the room.

Once they reach the front, Xiao starts talking.

"Venti, considering your academic achievements and grades in this class, i'll let it slip this once. But if i hear you disturbing the class again, i'll suspend you."

"Tch, who pissed in your cereal" Aether mumbles, only to regret the words right after they fall from his mouth.

"Good job Aether. You just made this 10x worse for yourself. Venti, you can go."

With an apologetic smile and a friendly wave, Venti picks up his bag and tiptoes out, not daring to disturb the deafening silence.

After Aether and Xiao were left alone, the tension in the room was so thick you would need a whole ass sword to cut through it.

"So..." Aether mumbles, tapping his finger impatiently on the desk.

"I've decided on a punishment"

"Damn already? Jeez teach, you're a fast thinker." Aether knew something else Xiao would probably be fast at, but he decided not to vocalise that thought.

Ignoring Aethers unprofessional way of talking, he continued.

"For the next 7 months, you will no longer be eating lunch in the cafeteria with your friends, you'll be eating it with me. In this classroom"

"But- Venti has nobody to sit wi-"

"Oh, don't worry, Venti will be coming too. But he's gonna sit in the very back row and you'll be sitting right next to me at the front."

Aether groans and Xiao continues, once again ignoring his impoliteness.

"And i'll also be giving you lessons on how to be more... presentable and less..."

"Sexy? Hot? Ravishing? Damned good in bed?"

With a menacing glare, Aether gets the hint and stops talking.

"How to be less of a whore."

I HOPE YALL LIKE THIS- i had too many story ideas and not enough time to write full stories for all of them so im just gonna stuff them into this book lmao.

This is obviously gonna be a short(ish) story with chapters and stuff, but once it ends im just gonna do another separate one. I think thats how one shots work but idk cause i never read them and ive never written one before so im not too sure.

Sorry for talking too much rn lol but ill be making more soon hehe <3
