the water is cold
it hasn't warmed I just keep dropping deeper and deeper
I can't breathe yet I feel like I don't need to
I can't swim the ability was taken long ago
with little motion, I reach out again hoping for a hand to hold
a hand does grab but not in the way I want
it yanks me further
to the point where I can't see any of the light from above
what did I do to deserve this?
I wish I knew
a light it shines it gets closer
it's not death its a person
swimming down for me
for me?
its nothing but a child trying to change someone where a child would not help
yet the hands are coming loose
yet he grabs me and attempts to pull me
but he can't he is too weak
he slowly sinks too
yet more lights come
more wishing to drown
yet they don't
they grab me too
and I finally float up
the surface what I want yet
not what I need
I left something
but I do not care for I finally see the land again the land...
drowning
no light
the hands have let go yet I do not float up
I was dragged up yet I'm still here
they saved one and now they must save the other
yet they don't
have I been forgotten?
only time will tell
the hands grab again
and further, I'm pulled down
