Kate had dropped the kids off at a neighbors house, and they were now gathered around Kates dining room table with Deena and her brother Josh.

"He broke into the house with a knife. That's not a prank, it's fucked up." Jessica fumed. She was pissed. How could this guy do that to someone? And Sam was dating him. That's almost worse than what he did.

"Woah, with the kids there?" Josh questioned.

"Yeah, with the kids there!" Kate interjected passionately.

"So what are we gonna do?" Jessica asked.

"Kill that perv-"

"I'm gonna talk to Sam and tell her to get her psycho boyfriend in check." Deena announced.

"Great idea."

Deena grabbed her keys, and stormed out of the house. Jessica followed her, but stopped when she realized no one else was.

"Come on!"

"Visiting hours are over."  The lady working at the front desk sighed.  

Kate cleared her throat.

"Tell nurse Beddy she has a patient."

The lady rolled her eyes, and went into a different room for a minute.

Nurse Beddy arrived a few moments later. She gave the teens a smile, and started to say something. But Deena cut her off.

"I need to see a patient."

"Right this way."

The two went down a hall, a door shutting behind them.

"Anyone want anything from the machine? I'm starving." Kate asked, and, not waiting for an answer, walked off to find the vending machine. Jessica went with her.

They walked side by side, their hands brushing against each other.

"Jess?"

"Yeah?"

"If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?"

"I dunno, I guess it depends. Are you going with me?"

Kate face scrunched into a smile, a slight blush rising
in her cheeks.

"Do you want me to?"

Jessica nodded.

"Then yeah. I'm going with you."

"Anywhere. I would go anywhere if you were with me."

Kates hand slipped into Jessicas.

"Whatcha want?" Jessica asked, nodding towards the vending machine they had finally arrived in front of. Kate took a step closer, considering her options.

"There you guys are!" Shouted a voice. The sudden noise started Kate, and she quickly let her hand slip out of Jessica's. Jessica frowned, but quickly fixed her expression and turned towards the two boys.

"Want a snack?" Jessica asked.

"Absolutely!" Simon replied enthusiastically, pushing through to the machine.

Jessica returned to Kates side, and they stood waiting for Simon to make his selection.

"Anyone got any cash?" He asked, finally having decided on his snack.

"No-"

"AAAAAH" Deena burst through the doors, being closely followed by Sam.

"RUN!" Deena shouted as they passed.

"Did they get back together..." Simon begun to ask, but was cut off by a dark figure running past him, chasing the girls.

Kate froze. And screamed. She froze and she screamed.

Jessica screamed too, but she didn't freeze. She grabbed Kates hand, and the four teens ran in the opposite direction of the figure.

They sprinted through the halls, ending up at the front door to the hospital.

"Keys, keys, keys. WHERE ARE THE KEYS!?" Simon demanded frantically.

Kates eyes went wide, but an idea popped into her head.

"Come on, the ambulance." She took off out the door, and they quickly followed her.

"Over here!" Jessica shouted, finding the ambulance.

Kate jumped in the drivers seat, and got to work starting the ambulance. Jessica opened the doors in the back, and her, Simon, and Josh hopped in without closing the doors.

While this was happening, Deena and Sam had made their way to the front of the hospital. And so had the figure.

Jessica looked over, and noticed the figure was stabbing someone while Deena and Sam hid behind the front desk.

"Pull around front!" Jessica commanded, and Kate whipped the vehicle around the front of the hospital.

The ambulance squealed to a stop. Jessica jumped out.

"Come on!" She shouted at Deena and Sam, gesturing inside the vehicle. The two girls quickly ran out and into the ambulance.

"Drive!" Josh yelled. And off they went.

"Are you ok?" Jessica asked, looking the two girls over to make sure they weren't hurt.

"We're good. But HOLY SHIT. "That guy, he was the guy from the news. The one who killed those people at the mall! But he was supposed to be dead, like they said they shot him! But there he was." Deena ranted. Sam just sat in shock, her eyes wide and her knees drawn to her chest.

Jessica crawled into the front of the ambulance, taking a seat next to Kate in the passengers seat.

"So where are we going?" Kate asked, having been driving aimlessly for a few minutes.

"The police station."
