They each gazed into the other's eyes, silently declaring their love between them. They had the perfect relationship. However, what made things difficult was the fact they weren't all the best people. They were the kind of people others feared, the kind of people others quivered in front of. They took pride in such things. After all, they were partners in crime.

"I love you so much, Melanthaha.," the man whispered. They continued to gaze at each other, toppling over their feet in their travelling minds. Melanthaha returned a sweet look to her lover. "I love you, too, Zephyr," she whispered back. They pressed their foreheads together and looked at the ground beneath their feet, finally breaking eye contact.

They seemed so innocent and nice when alone together, but they were entirely different people as they stepped into the public. On the streets, they were brutal, physically hurting anyone who crossed their paths. They would do horrible things to so many people and places, breaking them down in the most terrible ways.

They did all of these things while hand-in-hand, walking down the streets as people ran away in fear. They would throw burning looks as the citizens passed, the looks turning to fire on the buildings behind them. Melanthaha pressed her head into the shoulder walking next to her, closing her eyes for a brief moment while walking. Zephyr noticed and placed his hand on her resting head, while at the same time shooting sharp looks at the citizens passing, striking them with prickly fear.

Melanthaha opened her eyes and raised her head, grabbing Zephyr's hand from herself and holding it at their waists. She wrapped her arm around his, interlocking their fingers, walking at his pace. She looked peaceful, but as they both walked, a few buildings behind them set fire. Zephyr looked up to the sky, noticing it was getting to dusk. "Let's head home now, yes, Love?" he said to the one next to him. Melanthaha nodded in response.
