~ TRIGGER WARNING//: BLOOD ~

This is being posted two days late because I could not post it Saturday as I was busy. Please ignore this delay.

It was the next day. Melanthaha felt alone in her bed without her love there. "I miss you already, Gumdrop..." she said, half-asleep. She eventually got up, got dressed, and headed out to the village. Today was the day she would cause more pain than she ever had before. She went to find Alih, which wasn't hard. He was in the same spot they met before, bragging about how he killed Zephyr.

Melanthaha stamped around the corner, sending a stream of fire right next to him. "What the-" he exclaimed. "That's for killing Zephyr," Mel scolded. She sent out another stream of fire. "And that's for bragging about it like you're a superhero." Alih huffed, glaring at Mel. "It's a bit uncalled for, isn't it?" he said. "No! You killing Zephyr is what was uncalled for! I'm only repaying the favour," she responded.

She sent a fireball straight for him, sending him off his podium. "Ha! Missed me!" he bragged. Melanthaha rolled her eyes. "That was what I meant to do. Now, come over here and fight me," she said, glaring. Alih nodded and began walking toward Mel, preparing himself for yet another fight. It was the same as the last time - minus Zephyr. But, this time it felt different. Alih could tell Melanthaha had more kick to her this time, she seemed almost like the flames she produces herself.

A different crowd member yelled a countdown for the two, then shivered back into the sea of people. As soon as they both heard "go" they began fighting. Mel sent fireball after fireball toward Alih, forcing him to use all his stamina on dodging. He tried to jab his sword, but he couldn't get one second away from the fireballs. Soon enough, Alih's stamina was wasted on dodging, and he was extremely out of breath. He was right where Mel wanted him.

Melanthaha pushed herself over and grabbed Alih's sword by the blade, cutting her hand. She ignored it, flipping the sword and throwing it into Alih's chest. He paused. "Wha- What-" he choked out, blood coming along with the words. "And that is for ruining my life," she said, glaring, invisible fire coming from her face.
