Both woke up at around 6 am, getting ready for the day and setting out. Today, they didn't do too many awful things to the village, only setting about 23 buildings on fire, which was very little for them. However, despite this, the citizens of the village still cowered in fear as they passed, which angered them. Melanthaha looked at her lover in slight confusion.

"Why are they scared of us, Love? I never quite understood how we are so intimidating," Melanthaha asked. "It may be our demeanour. Or... the large amounts of fires we've set in this town," Zephyr responded, chuckling a little. One of the citizens nearby threw a shoe at the two, both looking the person in the eye and setting them on fire. Everyone around them gasped and screamed, running in all kinds of directions.

They both looked away, rolling their eyes. "They don't learn, do they?" Mel asked, giving an annoyed look. "No, Love, they don't," Zephyr responded. Soon, they both heard a commotion coming from around the corner. They went to check, as did other citizens. As it seemed, there was a sort of crowd forming around a man yelling about something.

"They will not hurt us anymore!" he yelled. Who is this guy? What is he talking about? Zephyr thought. He looked over to a bit where it seemed there was no crowd and started a monstrous fire. The entire crowd yelped and moved away from the flame. The man stopped talking. "Who are you?" Zephyr asked. "And what's the point of all this noise?" The man looked to where Melanthaha and Zephyr were standing. "I, sir, am Alih. The saviour of this burning town. And you are?" The man responded.

Someone from the crowd jumped up. "That's them! It's them! Those are the people you were talking about!" Melanthaha shot a look at the crowd member, threatening him to pipe it down. He quickly shut up and disappeared back into the crowd. "Ah, so you're Zephyr and... Melaine, was it?" Alih called. Melanthaha glared at the man. "It's Melanthaha. Thanks for asking."

"Hm, what an interesting name," Alih spoke. "However, we aren't here for acquaintances. We're here to put a stop to your tyranny." Mel threw her head back and looked at the sky. Not nearly dusk yet. "We've got time. Bring it on, then," Melanthaha challenged. Alih looked taken aback. "Wha- right now? W- Well can't we at least get prepared first?" he said frantically. "Sure. You have five minutes," she responded. Alih began frantically preparing himself, grabbing his weapons and all he needed to battle such beings.
