I was about thirteen. I had been transferred to a school meant for wild fairies who didn't know they were fairies who were having troubles fitting into society. It was a few weeks after transferring. This girl half my size wouldn't leave me alone. By this point being half elf I was around 5 foot 10. She was chubby faced but petite in her body and about 5 foot max. I'm pretty sure she was still 4 foot something. It didn't really matter. She picked on me a lot so I took the back stairs a lot. By this point, I Allifer had realized I was a fairy, and not only that but a fairy tree. Uncle Ben actually helped with that realization. Maybe I'll tell that story in the future. The problem is Jared and Milo weren't aware yet making the body unable to go through a blooming.

This was the day right after she had bloomed. She had realized over just wanting to believe she was a fairy so her life would be easier. The only way I knew that was because she would brag about it every class to her friends in that class. Yes. I had every class with this chick.

Basically it was the end of the day I was asked to stay behind by a teacher because I had been failing her class due to everything going on. She seemed concerned for me and my mental health but I waved her off as if her concern was silly. I would sleep in her class because I couldn't sleep in my own bed anymore. I would look over to chance, upside down in his bed and remember. I had learned in our sex ed course what grooming and sexual assault were the week before and I knew what Uncle Ben was doing now was just that. That's why I would have those nightmares about it. It wasn't love but pain.

So after a long talk and finally getting her to leave me alone I took the back stairs and guess who was waiting in the landing of the stair cases. It was a stair case that turned the corner so it had a landing where it turned. I stopped at the bottom of the stairs. "What do you want Jaden?" I asked defensively just wanting to get to the bus to go home.

"I'm waiting for you to kill yourself tranny." I looked at her confused. She had this weird thing where she though I was a trans man. Like what the fuck.

"Look I'm not in the mood." I said walking to the stairs going down. She grabbed my arm and flipped me around.

"What too scared want help?" She asked pushing me back words towards the stairs. I caught myself. I then turned ignoring her.

"Jared!" She yelled as if I was in danger as I got to the edge of the first step. Instinctively I turned around to face her. She was right up on me and she pushed me backwards. Of course I fell.

My bag fell off my arm and my stuff tumbled down the stairs. As for me my back hit the center railing on the second landing just before the bottom. This time a straight landing. My vision went black.

When I woke up I was in a hospital bed and I could hear people crying. I tried to focus and I moved my hand up to my face. I then instantly noticed. My legs. I can't feel them. I tried to sit up but a pain shot up my back. "Honey no!" My mother's voice rang out.

I looked up at my mom. "I-I can't feel my legs." I managed to squeak out. My voice had felt like it had been in a tomb for thousands of years and had just been discovered. I couldn't control the tears that streamed down my face.

My mom hugged me and told me that it'll all be alright. If Jared and Milo would just realize we were a fairy this wouldn't have happened. I would still feel my legs. Why am I the one having to suffer?

Once I had made a half decent recovery my school had asked to see me and my parents. I remember rolling into the office and seeing Jaden there. She had a small smirk on her face that disappeared when anyone else would look at her.

My parents took me into the principals office. And he sat down with a big grunt in front of me. "Jared Cerry." He said with a disappointed tone.

Oh no. I know what this is. I'm getting expelled for what? Being pushed down a flight of stairs and being paralyzed. I should have fought back. Who cares if she's half my fucking size.

"Jaden told us everything Jared." So she admitted it? No. No way not with that smirk. "How you've been posing as a girl to sexually assault her. How you've been bullying her in the only place this school has yet to put cameras," the stairs I took every day, "the way you made her friends uncomfortable. Everything." What is he talking about? "It's time to confess Jared. Why did you do these things? Maybe we could put you in a place where you can get some help." He said sincerely.

"None of that is true!" I yelled banging my hands on the wheel chair my parents had borrowed from the hospital until we could afford a better one for me. "I didn't do any of that! She was the one bullying me" I protested but I should have know it was useless.

"Jared... just tell the truth." My mother said seriously. "It's ok. We will help you."

Are. You. Fucking. Kidding. Me? I looked at her. "That is the truth!" I yelled. "I am telling the truth!"

"Jared you are failing three classes, have been expelled from 7 schools, and have been know for acts of violence..." the principal began to list. And at this point I had only been expelled from 6... this was the 7th. "Jaden is a straight As honor student who has no problem fitting in with her peers and even has multiple testimonies from her peers on seeing you so these things to her."
"What?! How?! I never did anything to her!" I yelled tears forming in my eyes no one in here believed me. I looked at my mom and she looked upset. Upset at me. "You told me to stay out of trouble! To keep my head down. TO NOT FIGHT BACK!" I yelled at her. She flinched. I looked at her with that scared expression for a good few seconds before fully falling silent and shutting down. I give up. What's the point? No one ever believes me.

I was expelled and because I started to refuse to respond it ended quickly after that. My parents got me into my dads truck and my mom looked back at me from the front seat. She put her hand up at my dad for him to wait outside the truck. "Jared I need you to be honest now that it's just you and me. Why did you do those things?" It stung. It really hurt. Tears formed in my eyes and probably rolled down my cheeks.

"I-I d-didn't." I sobbed. My mothers eyes widened.

I couldn't speak after that. My mom jumped out of the car and came around and held me. She held me close and said that she will believe me and that she wanted to hear from the start where it all happened with Jaden. I told her. Everything as soon as I could. Every little detail every little thing she had said every time she body slammed me from going into the bathroom to pee, to the day I was paralyzed.

This time my mother believed me.
