Chapter 9: a quick anatomy lesson

Ok so before I continue I need to explain clearly on how a fairy tree's anatomy works. It won't take long.

First let's explain the forms of fairies. You have a true form. A fairy form and a disguised form.

A true form shows elements from all the combined souls, races, and creatures making up a fairy's soul. This could be from added horns tails or even coloring. It all depends on a fairy. Sometimes, the fairy will have black markings if it's of a Royal kind (a more powerful fairy often called princes or princesses). For a fairy tree this true form often is a tree being completely non-binary, with no genitalia, or anything that could relate you to male or female other than style and aesthetic.

A fairy form is much like the true form except the wings on the fairy will turn to look like black angel wings and may or may not have markings if they are royal. Though they elements of a tree will most likely pick one genitalia or the other. Often times they can switch between either or both but they have to have at least one. This is often called the base state of a fairy. They tend to stay this way unless they are on a fairy tree as to not scare other creatures.

Lastly is a disguised form. This form is only seen in wild fairies. It's when you are a wild born fairy and are born without wings and have to go through a blooming. This is because of an evolutionary trait given to fairies that were killed for being a fairy. It's a way of survival.

Well for us because we were nearly fully spilt I had been granted some of the powers of my fairy form like the ability to change my genitalia... yeah I'm sure you can see where this is going. I got that ability at 11. The same time Uncle Ben told me he loved me despite me "being unlovable because I was a tree."

Yeah I'll go in more depth later but you needed to know all this before I continue with the week and a half of terror.
