Texts, No Texts, Girls And Soft Presents
I was out to one of the things I dreaded the most. It was one of those lunches where our entire family was invited...where I sat and made nice, while I tried to avoid their daughter who wanted to get in my pants.
I was pretty sure this one did. Her name was Katey, as she'd introduced the minute she shook my hand.
She threw gestures at me all through lunch and smiled too widely when she leaned into me and showed more of her cleavage. She was obviously around my age, so why was her chest that big? They shouldn't have been, right? I wasn't sure anyway, I just wasn't interested.
Quickly checking my phone under the table, I read a text from Kayden. It said he was a little busy and he'd text me later. I must have been smiling, because Katey inched closer to me and looked down too.
"What are you so happy about? Show me?" She said with a hopeful smile across her face.
I quickly put my phone away and forced a smile as I looked at her. "It's nothing," I said.
"Come on," she insisted.
Why was she being so nosy? It was actually starting to get annoying. I managed to get through lunch avoiding every single one of her innuendos.
At one point, both our parents became so engaged in their conversation they started talking in that way that they wouldn't even know if we were there or not...grown ups did that a lot. And that was the moment that Katey grabbed my hand.
I was a little bit confused as I looked at her. My lips were slightly parted in confusion and question while hers were just pulled into a smirk I didn't want anything to do with.
"Come on," she said and got up, her dress billowing around her thighs with her rash movements.
Before I knew it, I was up on my feet and following her into their house. The lunch was outside, on a patio facing a fountain. We made our way inside as a guard pretended not to even acknowledge our presence.
Katey locked her door and proceeded to drop on her bed. Her room was very spacious and very white and very pink. She sat at the edge of her bed and leaned back on her arms and smiled at me.
I was pretty much convinced the distance between the two of us was fine. I pressed my hands against the cool wood of the door behind me. She looked at me expectantly and I looked back at her. What did she want?
My cluelessness was almost embarrassing until she patted the spot on her pretty bed next to her. Her curtains were drawn to reveal big windows that overlooked a garden below. Very charming...very her.
