"Wait, she's coming, guys." The Gorgon comes into the room. "What have you done to the museum?!" The Gorgon yelled. "Run!!!" Everyone else ran away from the Gorgon, except for Mortimer. "What was that?!" "Do you see anything?" "No, I think the coast is clear." The coast is clear and they head back into the lounge to see what happened. Mortimer got turned into stone. "I will gouge her eyes out for this. Mark my words!" Haley hissed. "If this could happen to him, it could happen to any of us. We still have five keys. And there's a Gorgon coming after us that can turn us to stone," Bobin said. "Well, maybe we can use this gem to help us. Didn't Merlin say use this for our rainiest of days or something?" Joey said, picking up the gem.
"Wait, put it on the box!" Joey puts it onto the box, The door flies open, and Jael and Ryu appear. They're holding the Glitch Interrupters. "Michael and Joey, these are for you," Ryu told. Everyone else looked confused. The two of them went up to Jael and Ryu, and took the Glitch Interrupters and loaded them. "What is that, Jael?" Ro asked. "These are Glitch Interrupters. They're used to fix any glitches that come their way. One hit and it's fixed. We also have this Glitch Detector, which helps detect glitches easily. Ryu helps Joey and Michael get suited up. Then, he helps the other SAE members get suited up as well.
[Their outfits and what they got suited up with]
"Who are you gonna call?" "Ghostbusters!" Everyone cheered. "So you're not here to save us?" Colleen questioned. "I wish it was that easy, but this universe needs to be fixed. And we can't let the Cursed God escape. Otherwise... He will cause chaos in the multiverse at large." "Is that Mortimer?" Jael asked. "Yeah, he got turned to stone," Haley replied. Ryu sighed. "He was a great member of the SAE... But we must say farewell to all of you, for now." "Jael, Ryu, wait!" Alex called out. But it was too late. Jael and Ryu had already left, and the door flew shut. "Now what?" "We take care of the Gorgon. That's when Matthew got an idea. "If you showed a mirror to a Gorgon, it would reflect their vision back at them. They would turn to stone. Does anyone remember that?" Matthew asked. "History class pays off, huh?" Bobin remarked. "Yes, it does! It pays to be a Theorist." Bobin chuckled. "Maybe there's something else in his book that can help us continue our quest." "Have you guys read this note? No, we haven't."
"If my memories are correct, I think you might be facing a Gorgon. It's believed Athena's mirror shield can turn her deadly stare back upon her. The Collector happens to have it in her museum. The bearer of the shield must stand toe to toe with the Gorgon to reflect her gaze. You'll find her in the Garden of Statues." Alex takes the shield, wanting to prove himself to Ro. The group heads over to the Garden of Statues. The Gorgon's lair is gorgeous. There are these beautiful stone statues that were once humans. Alex walks down the steps, head towards the Gorgon, and hides behind one of her statue victims. "Hey." "Hey."
Alex tries to look at her through the mirror, but turns out, it was just a myth. "It's just a myth, you fool." "Alex!" Ro cried. "Ro!" Alex screamed as he got taken by the Minotaur, dropping the shield. Once they're away, they sneak deeper into the Gorgon's lair and they find a note. It says, "The Gorgon cannot be slain by a human, only by a beast. Poseidon created the minotaur and his medallion has the power to control it. It has been broken into three pieces. The first lies in the Gorgon's lair. And the second in the minotaur's maze. None have ever made it out alive."
