I'm deciding to spice things up and I'm going to do one more chapter from Khai's perspective, when I go back to Killua's perspective it will be three days before the dance.  Also, there's a slight smut warning (unfortunately, not between Gon and Killua).  This chapter is from Khai's perspective.

It's currently one in the morning and I lay awake in my bed as Retz gently snores on the ground next to me. I'm bored, and I can't sleep, and I feel antsy.

Maybe playing the piano will help? It always helps ease me.

I grab my phone and glasses off of my nightstand and put them on (I normally wear contacts) and I carefully tiptoe through the house and into the basement (the basement is furnished), where my keyboard and piano are.

I decide to use the keyboard since I can adjust the volume, so I can make sure it's not too loud.  I turn on the keyboard and rack up a random song in my head. I begin to play the made-up song, shortly after I begin my phone buzzes in my pocket.

Who the hell is calling me at this time of night? Most importantly, why?

I pick up my phone and see that it's Kally calling. I wonder what she wants at this time of night, I hope everything is okay.

I accept the call.

"Hey, Violet, what's up?"

"Oh, I didn't expect you to pick up at this time of night-"

"Well, y'know..." I chuckle a little bit. "So, why are you calling?"

"I'm bored."

"You're calling because you're bored?"

"Yeah."

There's a silence between us for a couple of seconds.

"What about your parents, won't you get in trouble if they catch you on the phone at this time?"

"Nah, my parents are out for the night.  It's just me." Violet says as she turns on the light in her room and sets the phone down, I can hear scuffling in the background.

"What are you doing up at this time, Khai?" Violet asks as she reappears on camera.

"I'm practicing..."

"Practicing what? You play three different instruments."

"The piano."

"Ooo, play me a song!"

I sigh and set up the camera so Violet can see me sitting at the keyboard. This happens every time I even touch or go near one of the instruments I play (I play piano, violin, and guitar), but I can't say no to her.

Violet smiles and giggles happily. "Play the Demon Slayer theme!"

"Okay-"

"And you have to sing it!"

That's where I draw the line.

"No," I say to Violet while looking at her.

"Please~," She says while giving me puppy dog eyes.

Just don't look at her and you'll be fine.  Just don't look at her.

"No, I'm not singing, Retz is sleeping," I say still not looking at my phone.

I hear Violet make a pouting noise, I can imagine her face and eyes as she does it.  So damn cute~...  But I must not give in! Okay, maybe just one look.

I glance over at Violet out of the corner of my eye, she huffs cutely with her hands intertwined pleadingly. I quickly look away.

Then an idea pops into my head.
