It took a while getting the groceries but they had enough to make some food. Aether, of course, had too many bags which Xiao took notice Aether was struggling because the weight of the bags was too heavy.

"Aether, let me help you"

"No it's okay I got it!"

Xiao rolls his eyes and takes the bags away from him. Aether sighs and tries to take the bag away from him

"At least give me some bags it's much for you"

"I work out it isn't hard for me"

Aether crosses his arms

"Come on, it's getting cold"

"Fine..."

Aether never thought of it before but he notice how Xiao was so handsome-

'What I'm I thinking?!' Aether thought and couldn't stop blushing

"Aether do you want my Sweater?"

"Oh but I'm already wearing Albedo brother  sweater-"

"Your hands are cold I wouldn't think it's warming you (and it's because it's Albedo brother...)"

Aether sighs and takes off the sweater

"Here"

Xiao place the groceries down and he takes off his sweater and handed his sweater to Aether.

"Thank you"

Aether puts it on and watches as Xiao pick up the groceries

"Alright let go"

"Mhm"

They started walking and Aether wanted to talk to him

"So do you have a mother or father for any chance?"

Xiao stop and look behind him

"Yeah, my father. His name is Zhongli, and he works in the office but I do have a problem with that"

Aether raises his eyebrow

"Why is that-?"

"Because that idiot Childe, my Father's co-worker keeps trying to interfere with my dad."

Aether smile

"Why is that the problem?"

"Because he's annoying I hate him"

"But you don't want your father to be lonely"

Xiao stay silent

"Maybe give him a chance"

Aether walks a bit closer to Xiao and pats his shoulder

"I'll think about it...."

It took 10 minutes but they were finally at Aether house which was cold

"It's so cold..."

"Do you have a heater?"

Aether shook his head to a 'no'

"I have an idea but just let me put the groceries away"

Aether nodded and decide to go to his room and grab a blanket one of the warm, and soft blankets he has.

He carries it towards the couch and gets under the blanket.

Aether waited for Xiao which didn't take him long and he towards Aether, and he then sat down next to him

"Come here"

"Huh?"

Xiao rolls his eyes and pulls him into a hug

"X-Xiao"

"My father does this to me whenever I get cold"

Aether hid his face in his shoulder turning red, while Xiao was about to talk and then stop and look at Aether. Aether was starting to close his eyes from the tiredness.

Xiao's heart starts beating which Aether looks at him

"Xiao...your heart is beating fast is something wrong?"

Xiao blush

"N-No I'm okay..."

A knock came from the door which left them both confused. Xiao stops hugging Aether and gets up to see who is in the door, Aether gets up and follows Xiao to see what was outside.

Xiao opens the door and-

"Dad, why are you here?"

Xiao was surprised how he found him in Aether's house and then Childe pop up behind Zhongli which he didn't take it well and rolled his eyes.

"Why is he here?"

Xiao squinted his eyes while Aether went behind him.

"Zhongli was worried for you"

Aether's eyes look at Zhongli which he noticed and smile at Aether.

"Zhongli look at this baby picture!"

Zhongli lean to see Childe phone seeing a random baby, it was adorable but in confusion, he pick his head up

"Childe you've been showing me baby pictures all day"

Xiao raise his eyebrows while Aether was listening to their conversation.

"Zhongli don't you find them adorable?"

"Yes but I already have 2 kids Xiao, Ganyu-"

"How about another one?"

"Um we should be going...bye Xiao"

Zhongli waves goodbye and before Childe leaves he peeks in the door

"You're going get to a baby brother right after I-"

"Childe!"

Zhongli calls out while Childe laughs and runs away before Xiao was about to run after him.

"Xiao I hope it's not a bad moment but can you close the door it's cold...."

Xiao closes the door

"I can see why you hate Childe but how about we forget about it and I will make some tea"

Xiao nodded.
