Chapter 97

Balveer is sitting on his bed thinking about Ray .He doesn't know his plan is  working or not.What if He failed ?What if his plan worked?What if Ray stops hating him? How their relationship will change?Till now Balveer and Ray never confront each other . Every time it is Nakabposh who confront Ray.What  will happen when he has to face Ray as Balveer?Can he forget his past without even knowing it properly?

His chain of thought is broken by Ananya who pick up letter box(which is given by Nakabposh) and post a letter.He goes inside washroom (only place where Timnasa will not interfere) and open his fist looking at Ananya's letter.

' New start ke liye old ko end karna parta hai.Tumne Ray ke hate ko end karke, tum dono ke relation ka new start kiya hai.Ab waqt aa gaya hai ki tumhare man me uth rahe sawalo ka end ho.KAL SUBAH MEET ME IN VEER LOK."

Dev folds the letter .He thought that her letter will make him relaxed and here she increases his restlessness .Now he can't sleep after knowing that tomorrow he will get to know about his past.
"Samajh nhi aata hai ye meri dost hai ya dushman."He looks at the letter worriedly.

Next morning

Dev is still in the classroom as today he has a case study of a crucial disease and he can't miss it .He looks at the clock hoping that this will over soon .
Dev's POV

I leave the classroom as soon as it got over.As I am going toward washroom (so that I can transform into Nakabposh and can go Veer lok) my heartbeat is increasing .All those truth which I heard till now had just shattered my heart into pieces and I don't what I am going to hear today.Each passing second is like years.I hurriedly turns on the way to washroom but my legs halted looking at the unexpected figure standing at the other end of corridor, RAY.His eyes are red as if he cried whole night and looking at his body language I can say that he is here to meet me and this time there is no hate in his eyes .My already increased heartbeat increases more.Taking slow steps I reached near him.

"Can we talk"He asked in low and sore voice and I just nodded

Now We are in a empty hall  of  our college ,where usually college functions are organised.I look at Ray waiting for him to speak as it is too awkward for me to start the conversation and I think it is same with Ray as first time in our life we are standing in front of each other not as a enemy .Well Not as a brother too.Frankly speaking I still don't get that brotherly feeling from Ray even after knowing that he is my brother.My heart still consider only Manav as my brother.

"Dev"Said Ray after taking enough time to start the conversation "I don't know tumhe pta hai ya nhi ki...."
He paused for a second and then continue "We ..are brothers"

It is clear from his hesitation that he too is on same page and is not getting any brotherly feeling for me.He looks at my face to see some glimpse of shock and get astonished by not finding it.

"Mujhe pta hai"I said looking at his stunned face" Ananya ne mujhe bataya "I clarify after looking at him as his countenance reflect question in his mind.

"Oh!"He said looking away and again awkward silence engulfed the environment for some seconds .

"Tum ab bhi mujhse nafrat karte ho"This time it is me who broke the silence.
"No."He said "I really hate to admit but I ..I was wrong.But Mai sorry nhi bolunga"
I smile slightly looking at his  hesitation .It is really difficult for someone who is self-centred to suddenly leave his ego .I know he can't change in some days .He needs time .I don't know why but every line is followed by awkward silence .

"I think hume time chahiye "I said breaking the ice" Humara rishta jo bhi ho per wo bahut bitterness ke sath start hua tha.Aur Mujhe nhi lagta ki ek din me sab kuch badal jayega.Humara equation dhire dhire kar ke bigada hai to dhire dhire kar ke hi sudharega "

"Right.Damage bada hai to Damage control me bhi time lagea "He said nodding slightly ."By the way mai humesha se sahi tha .Tum mere samne kuch bhi nhi"He said proudly and I looks at him stunned .Is he still holding some grudges .

"After all chahe kuch bhi ho jaye tum ho to mujhse chote "He said with slight smile and chuckle escape from my mouth.

"Hmm.Unfortunately ha"I said nodding with smile.That air of awkwardness has  started decreasing between us."to kya ab mujhe tumhe Bhaiya bulana padega?"I asked with smile and I can see moisture forming in his eyes.He must have dreamed to be called as 'Bhaiya' .

"No, ab strange lagega."He said wiping corner of his eyes."It's better ki tum mujhe Ray hi bulao"

I nodded feeling emotional looking at him.
"per tumhara iss waqt aaise ghumna is not good.Tumhare liye safe nhi hai"I said remembering that he is in college and Bambaal to is here.

"I couldn't stop myself from coming here"He said "But now I think I have to leave.
"Ruko"I said as it is not safe for him to wander like that."Mai tumhe direct bhej deta hu"
I snaps my fingers and teleport him .

I am really feeling better after his sojourn Visit . It feels like someone has removed weight from my heart.I don't know whether we can develop brotherly bond or not but Now we are not enemies and this is quite soothing. Taking a deep breath ,I sit on the chair with smile.But This relaxation is less than a second as I recall that Ananya is waiting for me in veer lok and again that nervous feeling come back.Don't know what is waiting for me.
