Liliane's POVStaring at Morgan, it makes me reminisce our past. It was such a sweet and joyful youthful memory.
She's my ex-girlfriend, and were having dinner with both of our other half. My husband is in a call while her wife has still not arrived from her work so were left alone.
"So... How's married life, Mory?" I asked using her nickname.
"Nothing special, you know I don't love her, Lily." she answered dismissively as she sips on her wine.
I just chuckled looking at her, slightly amazed that she didn't even bothered changing her bussiness suit.
"Yeah, yeah something about you promising that you'll only love-
I do still love you, Lily" she interupted but I've only gave her a challenging smile.
"Oh really?"
"Yes, really."
I shake my head smiling as I thought of something. I glanced at her and she was looking at me.
I made my eyes bigger, make it look like I just remembered something as I look for my phone.
"Oh right! It's already 8 o'clock. Is your wife really going to be here?" I asked sounding concern.
Her expresion did a series of changes from confusion, to annoyed to worriness. I almost chuckled at how funny it looked but her worry was so geniune that I can't just help but smile at how familiar it was.
She used to have that expresion whenever I'm begging threw off the air on cheer practice.
Hands suddenly snake around my shoulder but knowing the calming touch made me lean to it.
"Hey Hun." Daniel greeted kissing my cheeks. He soon sat beside me and held on my waist.
"Who was it, Hun?" I asked referring to the call.
"It was Abuela telling me to come home to Colombia with you." he answered pinching my cheeks with his other hand since he just don't want to let go of my waist.
"Oh well, did you agree?"
"Of course, I know how you love it in Colombia." He replied then finally sitting straight but not before pecking on my lips making me giggle.
Oh how I love this man.
"She'll be here in a minute." Morgan suddenly said looking relieved.
I smirked seeing how she's reacting.
Not long after, her wife arrived still on her track suit. Apparently she's a volleyball coach on one of the university here.
It was funny how she and Morgan both showed up wearing their working clothes. They seem rather compatible than what Morgna is implying.
"Uhmm hi, my name is Indigo Skye Reid, Morgan's... ahh"
"Morgan's wife, I know." I continued her intro taking her hand for a shake. I smiled at her because she seems tensed.
"I'm Liliane, and this is my husband, Daniel Ford." I uttered and introduced my husband who immediately shook her hands too.
We had a pretty cool dinner. Indy (Indigo, as to what she want us to call her) was actually a jolly woman in contrast to Morgan's silent-cold and composed demeanour.
