Ten raised to the power of then, she explains as her heels sound the woodwork of the platform. She wears a blazer tight around her waist and a skirt until her knees. She always walks in a straight line and speaks like she's about to bite. Her eyes behind those glasses zoom like cameras across the noisy classroom as she spots the next person to call. I want it to be me. I want to hear her call my name.
