EXTRA SCENE - THE WEDDING

"HOW DO YOU FEEL, NII-SAN?"

Takashi stopped his pacing as he look over towards his younger brother who was dressed in a black tuxedo with his arms crossed.

"Honestly, I feel like I'm gonna throw up." Takashi admitted. "Thank you for being here, Tobio. I know this is bad timing, considering you have to prepare for nationals with your teammates."

"It's all right. Ukai-san gave the team a break before we start preparing for nationals." Tobio reassured him. "What are you so worried about?"

"I'm not sure. I mean, what if he changed his mind at the last minute and doesn't want to marry me?"

Tobio raised an eyebrow in question. "Wasn't Tenma-nii the one to ask you?" He countered.

"That's... That's not the point, Tobio!" Takashi argued.

The door suddenly opened as Nagata entered. "Ah, it seems Udai isn't the only one who's nervous." He commented. "Are you ready to go?"

"Ready as I'll ever be."

Both Tobio and Nagata leave the room as Takashi grabs his white suit jacket off of the nearby chair and putting it on.

"Calm down, Takashi." He tried his best to reassure himself. "You're just marrying your lifelong partner. No big deal."

He walks out of the room and greets Ukai Sr, who was standing outside of the church door. "Coach, thanks for doing this for me." Takashi said.

"It's not a problem, Kageyama." Ukai Sr stated, smiling at him.

Takashi exhaled as he heard the music coming from inside the church, and the door opened.

After the ceremony, everyone gathered for the reception. Takashi had taken his seat next to Tenma.

Once everyone had finished eating, it was time for the most embarrassing thing that Takashi thought was.

The speeches.

"Let me start this speech off by saying Shibata, you owe me 100 yen." Nagata started to say into the microphone.

"Piss off, Nagata!"

Shibata's response caused everyone to laugh, making Nagata shoot daggers at the brunette. "Moving on, I've known Kags — Ah, sorry, I guess I should start using his first name now — I've known Takashi since childhood. I lived in his neighborhood, and was his next door neighbor, so I would always be over at his house playing volleyball." Nagata continued on as everyone listened.

"When Takashi and Tenma first met, it was an absolute nightmare. Everyday during volleyball practice, they would sprout insults at each other. It was never-ending. When I — jokingly — told Takashi that he had a huge crush on Tenma, he whacked me upside the head and called me an idiot. Well, who's the idiot now, huh?" Nagata said, looking over at Takashi who just grunted.

"Anyhow, congratulations Takashi and Tenma. Cheers."

"Cheers." Everyone repeated, raising their glasses and taking a sip of their drink.

Miura went up next as he took the microphone in his hands. "I first met Taka-chan when Shiratorizawa was having a practice match against Karasuno. I didn't really have a great setter back in high school, so I was amazed by his form and his ability to send the perfect tosses to his spikers. After the practice match was finished, I pointed to him and said..." He began, remembering when he first met Takashi.

"Kageyama Takashi! You're going to set for me someday!"

Tenma's eyebrow twitched at the memory, making Takashi hold back his laugh. "We eventually crossed paths again when we both signed to play for Japan." Miura continued on. "It wasn't really easy in the beginning. I was constantly being compared to Tenma-chan. Though, I was aware he stopped playing after high school. Which came as a shocker to me. Eventually, all of that passed and I became the second person to coordinate with Taka-chan for his Emperor toss."

"Congratulations, Taka-chan and Tenma-chan. Cheers."

"Cheers."

A few more guests — Both from the Japan team and Takashi's old high school teammates — took turns giving speeches. Soon enough, Tobio stepped towards the front.

He cleared his throat, getting everyone's attention. "Um... My Nii-san and I have had our differences. There were times where I wouldn't talk to him. Our relationship was really rocky. But... I always enjoyed watching him play volleyball, and I'm glad we're fixing our relationship." Tobio began.

"Congratulations on your marriage, Nii-san."

Takashi smiled at his younger brother before tackling him. "Aww, Tobio! I knew you were soft!" He exclaimed.

"Don't make me take back my words, you piece of shit!"

Everyone soon began conversing with one another. Takashi was talking with Matsuda and Miura when Akiteru came up to him with an unfamiliar male.

"Taka, I would like you to meet someone." Akiteru said, causing Takashi to hum. "This is Sano Kichiro. He moved to Miyagi a while back."

"Nice to meet you. I'm Kageyama Takashi." Takashi introduced himself.

"Likewise. I've heard a lot about you."

"All good things, I hope."

"Of course."

Kichiro walked away as Takashi gave Akiteru the look. "What are you looking at me for?" Akiteru questioned.

"You totally like him." Takashi teased.

"Wh-What?! I don't like him!" Akiteru denied.

"Deny it all you want, Teru." Takashi chuckled, making Akiteru huff before quickly catching up to join Kichiro.

"So, we're helping with the All-Japan Youth Camp, huh?" Matsuda questioned.

"Mmm. Seems so." Takashi answered. "There should be some fantastic national-level players there. It'll give us an idea of who we want to scout for the National Team in a few years."

"I really hate this time of year, it reminds me how close our retirement is coming." Miura complained as Matsuda whacked him on the head. "Ouch! Matsu-chan!"

"The three of us are only twenty-one! Don't put us into retirement age yet, dumbass!" Matsuda shouted.

Takashi sighed as he suddenly felt himself getting pulled away. His eyes met Tenma's, making him chuckle.

"Spending time with your teammates on our wedding day, Kashi? I thought you were better than that." Tenma huffed out.

"Getting jealous, Ten? How adorable."

"Shut up, bastard."

Takashi laughed before leaning in and kissing his husband's lips.

"I love you, Udai Tenma."

"And I love you too, Udai Takashi."
