Tav walked out into the training arena. The day seemed like any other day, Tohka had to go and train with the rest of the class while Tavarious watched. It was nice, seeing Tohka get along with others was all well and good, but yet something, tugged on his emotions.

"Hello there," Gracchus greeted in a suspiciously friendly manner.

"General Kenobi, what's up?" Tavarious replied.

"Funny guy, anyway, if I remember correctly you participated in the tournament right?" Gracchus asked.

"Yeah, are you going to challenge me to a duel?" Tavarious asked as his eyes examined the taller white haired boy.

"Got it, so, let's do this." Gracchus said and he got into a stance with his IS.

Tavarious had a confused look to him but put his hands over is dual pistols. Chifuyu walked over, now with a smile to her face similar to Gracchus's current.

"Ok, the rules are simple, the one who breaks the other's shields will win, the loser with clean the bathroom." Chifuyu announced as she held her hand up, before suddenly lowering it down. "Begin!"

Gracchus immediately rushed at the grey haired boy, quickly forming a weapon in his hand. Tav quickly ducked and drew his pistols and unloaded a full clip into Gracchus's shield. Gracchus didn't pay much mind to it as he finished an ice sword and swung at Tavarious. Tavarious dropped one gun and unleashed the <No Pain> sword to cut through the ice creation.

Gracchus's smile faded instantly, but instead of fear, his face filled with rage as he slapped away Tavarious. He quickly shot out fireballs after him as he created another sword. Tavarious quickly stableized himself in the air before shooting at the fireballs to destroy them. Yet at his feet, a pillar of ice rose up and slammed into Tav's territory, causing major damage. Gracchus dove down from the sky with a different kind of sword in a downward stab.

Tavarious rolled out of the way, letting the sword stab the ice and got up quickly. He then charged at the cyborg with his plasma sword in hand. Gracchus quickly pulled out his sword of hardened ash, clashing his sword with Tav's. Both tried to take advantage of the sword clash to strike but they both doged. Tavarious took the chance to use the rotary cannon on his side to fire a barrage of rounds onto Gracchus's shield. Gracchus knew the rounds would do more damage than the pistols, so he weaved and dodged through the hail of bullets. Tavarious started to sweat nervously as Gracchus got closer to him, but thinking quickly, he stopped firing and parried Gracchus's strike that was aimed at the cannon, unleashing the power of the cannon at point blank range.

I am tired of this shit. Gracchus thought as he quickly got frustrated.

He kicked Tavarious, knocking him forward before stabing the Territory and easily shattering it, but...

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Tohka screamed in horror as Gracchus stabbed Tavarious by accident.

Gracchus quickly pulled the sword out, and watched to his surprise, the wound quickly heal.

What the hell?

Tavarious fell like a stone as the equipment now weighted down. Tohka quickly flew up and caught Tavarious in her arms and examined where the wound should before looking up at his face.

"Hey, don't worry, I am fine." Tavarious said with his usual monotone voice.

"Stop scaring me like that!" Tohka exclaimed as she shook with Tav.

Chifuyu sighed in relief.

"Gracchus is the winner, too bad Tav, you're cleaning the bathrooms." Chifuyu announced.

"Eh, that will be fine." Tavarious said as Tohka carried him down and to the bench.

The rest of the day went fine, there was a match between Rin and Cecilia that was quickly put to an end thanks to Ichika's intervention.

"Hey Ta-" a girl began as she approached the couple.

Tohka quick gave her a death glare, intimidating the girl and making her run away.

"I don't like it here." Tohka said as she leaned on Tav's shoulder.

"I don't blame you, don't worry, I promise you that we will go out for a while." Tavarious said as he leaned on Tohka.

"Well I want to do it now." Tohka said as she looked at the other girls surrounding Gracchus and Ichika. "There is just too many of them that want you."

"Well why worry about that?" Tavarious asked. "Out of a billion smiles yours is my favorite."

"Tavarious..." Tohka said as she hugged the grey haired boy.

Tavarious hugged back, gaining an "awww" from the audience as they snapped pictures.

Time Skip

Tavarious removed the last of his equipment and turned to leave, despite the wonder that is the Territory, it is still way more bulky and unwieldy than the IS, while being weaker, not a good combination.

No wonder the AST has a hard time with Spirits. Tavarious thought as he walked out of the hangar.

"Hey, Tavarious." A voice called out.

Tavarious turned, to face Gracchus in the middle of the hangar, examining the Wiring Suit and the gear for the Territory.

"Oh, uh, hi, how are you?" Tavarious asked as he stopped in his tracks.

Gracchus walked over to Tavarious after he was finished with examining the CR unit.

"Are you a cyborg, or some kind of machine?" Gracchus bluntly asked, now looking down at Tav.

"Um...no, what made you think that?" Tavarious asked, keeping his usual expression.

"I stabbed you, and I saw you heal in a split second, no one should be able to do that." Gracchus said.

"So, I am perfectly human." Tavarious said as he stabbed his hand and let the blood drip down to the floor. "See?"

Gracchus pulled out the blade and both watched the wound heal in a matter of seconds.

"Well, I am not sure what you are, but let me be clear." Gracchus said as he got closer to Tav's ear. "You are not unkillable."

Gracchus then stood up and left the room for lunch, leaving Tavarious to walk off to his separate path.

FINALLY I HAVE UPDATED, so sorry if you're loving this book, I have been being lazy and had a lot of things in my life, more importantly my job that lead me to lose a lot of motivation since it was so stressful, but I quit and I am looking at better jobs, I will try to update when I can and hopefully not leave you all hanging, thank you for reading and hope you have a good day.
