Kagami point of veiw ~ Today we were finally meeting the Seirin basketball team. Theses last two months have been pretty interesting. Nanami-Senpai has had me and Kuroko doing a lot of exercises and a lot of offense and defense drills.
She is absolutely scary when she is mad. But is an amazing coach and I have yet to beat her in a match. She can use misdirection like her brother but she can actually shoot. Kuroko has been working on his passes a lot and they are a lot better then his teiko days.
I learned the reason why he is having his sister train him. And I am totally on board with wanting to beat strong opponents.
"Coach we are here"a female voice said "hello Aida how are you"Nanami-Senpai asked "I've been doing good and have had theses five doing the drills that you wanted them to do and I even incorporated some of my drills as well"Aida-Senpai said
"As expected of my successor"she said "where's your brother"Aida-Senpai asked "right here"Kuroko said making all six jump. I have gotten used to him. Unlike his sister he can't make his presence bigger so people can notice him better. You just have to be around him long enough to sense his presence.
"Right I am Riko Aida assistant coach"Aida-Senpai said "this is Rinnosuke Mitobe he doesn't talk. I am Shinji Koganei"the cat like guy said "I am Shun Izuki vice captain"the other guy said "Satoshi Tsuchida"the next boy said "Junpei Hyūga captain"the guy with the glasses said
"I thought there was six of you"I asked confused "Kiyoshi is in rehabilitation right now and won't be back until the second month of school. He has a knee surgery. So he is taking it slow right now"Aida-Senpai explains
"Okay now that your all here give me 10 laps around the court"Nanami-Senpai said making us groan "make that 20 start running boys. And you will be dribbling the basketball if you mess up with will do it again"She said making us nod "yes coach"we said and we did the drills.
Theses drills might be annoying but they help a lot though because I can see a difference in my dibbling and shooting skills. After we did the running we did shooting and passing drills as well.
"Good job boys now let's play five against one. Kagami and Kuroko you will sit out"Nanami-Senpai said and we sat down. And watched them play. They weren't half bad. But Nanami-Senpai was a monster she beat them 120-100.
She then switched Kuroko and I in for Kogeanei-Senpai and Tsuchida-Senpai who she benched. It was much different playing on a team. I could honestly see how much I have improved in such a little time. But we were still beaten by Nanami-senpai by 170 to 70. But such a difference was unbelievable. She was honestly that good. But it was our first time playing as a team. And I don't think we did all that bad.
"Oneesan isn't their anyone that could beat you"Kuroko asked with a pout "yes there is but he is currently in rehab right now. But Kiyoshi is an uncrowned king and I was the coach of his team so if would make sense that one of the uncrowned kings could beat me"Nanami-senpai said "uncrowned kings are they as strong as the generation of miracles"I asked "yes they are but we are there senpais. Three of them go to the same school as the leader of the generation of miracles. One is at our school but attending rehab and the other is the captain of his school and plays dirty. I can show you old tapes sometime. I even have tapes from Tetsu's game. But let's wait until we get a few new members then I will bring the tapes in before we officially start practice"Senpai said
"So we are going to have an official team sleepover after we get more members"Aida-Senpai asked "yes it will be a great official bonding time"Nanami-Senpai said. I have a feeling that I am going to like being on this team.
