Nanami point of veiw ~ I was currently watching my first and second years have a scrimmage against one another. The first years are very in sync with one another and have found away to bring out Kuroko and Kagami's strength.
But it's not where it needs to be though. But it's just starting out and they are getting the hang of playing together so it's fine. The second years have gotten better at being in sync then they were last year. Their team work has gotten better as well.
When Kiyoshi comes back I will have him play with the second years and I will play with the first years. He will become back in a few weeks. Which means I need to set up a training regimen for him as well. I will also need to get him in sync with the rest of the team as well.
I blew my whistle and they stopped play "Izuki, Mitobe, Koganei, Kawahara, Fukuda, and Furihata switch teams"I said and they did as I said and started to play again. But this time it was much sloppier because they were all out of sync.
"Why'd you switch them up for Nanami-Senpai they were doing much better before and they were in sync as well"Aida said "I know that's the point. They need to be able to adjust to whoever their teammates are including their playing styles as well"I explain "that makes sense. But anyways I organized the scrimmage"Aida said
"With Kaijō or Shūtoku"I asked "Kaijō"Aida said "when is it"I asked "next week"she said "next week that's good enough"I said "so you know who you are going to be starting"she asked
"The second years"I answered "so you aren't putting Kagami or Kuroko in the starting line up why. Kaijō has kise on their team"Aida said
"I know that but for a practice match they aren't going to put in Kise until it's absolutely necessary. Which is why I want the second years to rack up as many points as they can and once they put Kise in I will put Kagami and Kuroko in as well. But the second years won't be out official starting line up though. I will wait until Kiyoshi comes back so I can know who I am going to be putting in for the starting line up. But for now I need to be able to get them to accommodate for each other's weaknesses and blind spots. And be in sync with everyone no matter which teammate they are play with. That way I can come up with plays that will tip the score board if we are way behind or if we are tied"I explain
"Oh wow that is way thought out captain. I don't know if I'm going to be able to lead like you once you leave"Aida said "don't lead like me. Be your own leader Riko"I said and she nodded smiling that I used her first name. We then continued to watched the boys play. Little brother I hope you surpass my expectations before I graduate.
