Hiro shifted uncomfortably and held his shoulder tighter than was necessary. He stood as still as he could with his entire body tense and straining his shoulder. After the shifting had finished, silence had fallen upon the group. He sensed that there were two people on each side of him and an extra person standing in front of him. He had a theory, but was impossible. He is dead anyway.
Someone pulled a corner of the blindfold and let it flutter to the dirt beneath them. Stood in front of him was a scolded Tadashi Hamada. Standing up straight with his hands clasped in front of him, Tadashi's face was starstruck when Hiro's sleeve let Tadashi's eyes land on the scar that burrowed itself into his shoulder.
"You look like a wreck." Hiro chuckled as tears went free flowing down his cheeks and onto the tops of his shoes that were hastily pulled on.
"I could say the same thing for you." Tadashi laughed. "Listen Hiro. I've needed to tell you something for a long time and I couldn't tell you for that long time because one, you were uncomfortable with me and two, I was presumably dead." Tadashi took a deep breath. "This is going to be really difficult for me."
"I'm just glad to have you back." Hiro smiled widely as he wiped his cheeks only to be drench in the endless stream. "What did you have to tell me? Couldn't be that big of a deal."
Tadashi raised one of his eyebrows.
"You ran into a burning building, the house was burnt down and I was shot in the shoulder." Hiro stated. "That doesn't mean there isn't room for more surprises, I suppose."
"Please be completely honest with me." Tadashi spoke nervously. He pulled out a small, wooden box as he dug his knee into the soil below him.
