Chapter 12

Levi cautiously knocks on the passenger side of the door thinking if he should even be doing this. Valerie picks her head up and looks over to the window with puffy eyes and her hair even more crazier then usual. Levi gives a small smile and feels his heart ache for Valerie. Valerie rolls down the window "oh um Hi Mr.Wilde what are you doing here?" Valerie frantically wipes at her eyes and just smears her mascara even more then it already is. "Well I saw you run out of their in hysterics and I was just coming to make sure everything is alright.. So is everything alright?" Levi asked Valerie in a calming tone. "Ye-yes" Valerie's voice broke and she just shook her head no "no, sir. It's all horrible". Valerie buries her face into her hands again and starts sobbing. Levi opens her door and climbs into her passenger seat without even thinking about the consequences or how bad this might look to other people, but he doesn't care all he cares about right now is seeing this young beautiful girl break down before him. Valerie doesn't here him climb in to her Jeep until she feels a soft patting on her back in between her shoulder blades. When Valerie comes to her senses she jerks back away from him with a tiny gasp. "What are you doing in here? I don't think you are allowed in here!"
"I know I'm not but you are obviously not in a good state to drive and I-I was worried about you."

Valerie looked at him with her big watery eyes and gave him a tiny smile "thank you, Mr.Wilde."
"Would you like to talk about it?" Levi stopped rubbing her back and is sitting their looking at her while she twirls her already curly hair around her finger. While Valerie was explaining what happened back inside the pizzeria. After she was done she was crying all over again. "Wow.. that's all I could say.. I'm sorry Valerie th-that you're supposedly best friend is a complete ass!" Levi's started turning red with anger on how some one can treat such a nice girl like that.
"I know!" Valerie could barley utter those two words and Levi knew she was not in a capable state of driving home so he got of her Jeep and went around and opened up her door "get out."
"What?" Valerie stammered. "I said get out and go around to your passenger side because I am going to drive you home" Levi said in stern voice. Valerie has been his apprentice for so long she knew not to mess around so she hopped our of the Jeep and went around to the passenger side.
Levi started the car and as he was backing up he asked her where she lived and she pointed in the direction and just stayed continued to look out the window. When Levi pulled up to her house he stopped the engine "well here you go Valerie Redd."
"Thank you Mr. Wilde but um how are you going to get home?" Valerie asked with cocking her head to the side.
"Don't worry I'll walk home. Goodnight and I'll see you in school" and with that Levi walked off and Valerie stood their watching him till she couldn't see him no more.
