Chapter 1

*8 months earlier*

I wake up and it hits me I am an official senior. I've never thought this day would come but here it is. I put on a nice grey flowing dress with a pair of sandals. As I sit in front of my mirror getting ready to apply some makeup I look at my facial features and body. Curly black hair that I have given up on to make straight, pouty small lips, a small nose, and big almond colored eyes. I've never liked my body my small waist and big butt gets to much attention, I've never liked attention.

I finish applying some basic makeup eyeliner, mascara, lip gloss and concealer. I grab my book bag and my phone and I head down stairs. I grab a piece of toast and see my family around the table "morning mom, dad, and Josh. Josh are you ready to go? It's your first day of high school as a freshman!" " yes Val let me just finish this pancake and I'm all set." I just roll my eyes and say "hurry then I'm excited it's senior year for me!" "I said OKAY VAL!"

As me and Josh start heading outside of course mom has a big crying fit about how her only two babies are growing up so fast and of course she takes so many pictures of us and dad just stands their laughing at how mom is crying, my parents are such dorks but I love them.

Me and Josh get in my grey Jeep and he starts asking me a billion questions from are upper class men going to beat him up because he's a freshman? To is their really a pool on the top of the second floor? As we pull into Kay high school I spot my best friend Klarissa wearing a black flowing dress.

I say bye to Josh and call klarissa on her phone "hello? turn around because your best friend is right behind you" we hung up and run and hug each other "can you believe it! We're seniors! It feels like yesterday we where just 6th graders saying hi to each other for the first time!" Klarissa exclaimed. I nod because I'm to in shock to even say anything. So we walk hand in hand into the school not expecting what this school year is going to throw at us.

( authors note: well this is kind of like an opening chapter since it's the first chapter I know nothing exciting happened yet but just give me time an I promise it'll get better.... Hopefully)
