Chapter 5

"OH MY GOD VALERIE YES YOU SHOULD DO IT! It'll look soooo great on collage applications!". As I was telling Klarissa what just happened with Mr.Wilde she just sat their in shock the whole time and then bursts out saying that. "But Klarissa I just don't know if I'll be able to do that and at the same time keep up with all my school work." She just looked at me crazy "Val just think about it at least. I know you can do it." After that she turned up the music and I drove out of the school parking lot and I drove her home without a single word until we said our goodbyes.

" hey mom, dad I'm home. Did Josh make it home? He said he had a ride home with mike" I walked into the kitchen to get a snack and Josh sitting their stuffing his face with pizza roles. "Oh I guess that answers that question. Josh can I ask you something?" Josh does a little eyebrow raise at me" if it's about girl stuff then no but other then that yes" I sit next to him and start eating a pizza role. " Do you think I draw good?" " Valerie are you becoming stupid or something? YES YOU DRAW GOOD! Your one of the best at our school! Why?" I think about if I should tell him about what Mr.Wilde offered me and decide not to. "No reason I was just curios... But in gonna take the rest of these pizza roles!" I grab the plate of pizza roles and dash to my room and lock my door before he has a chance to realize what happened

As I lay there in bed looking at my ceiling I wonder what would happened if I take up the offer? I feel like something is up with Mr.Wilde he just stared at me the whole class period basically and it's barley the first day of school. I can't help but feel like he has other intentions but maybe it's me just being paranoid since he is new after all.

I end up falling asleep because the next thing I know I hear my alarm go off and the sun is peaking throw my blinds. I check my phone and see I have a message from Rush it reads" hey darling dear please be ready by 7:30 I'll take you to school today so we can talk about what happened in art, and before you ask yes Klar told me" I just reply back a simple "okay." I pick out what I'm going to wear for the day a pair of skinny jeans that hug my butt just right, a loose light blue shirt, and black flats. By the time I finish applying my little bit of makeup I hear a honk outside that must be Rush.

I head outside and hop in the passenger seat of his black jeep, my friends and I all own jeeps. " morning rush" "morning cutie" he says with a smirk. " Rush how many times do I have to tell you I'm not into you like that?" For the longest time Rush has been trying to get me to like home but I just don't, I see him as a brother and I have to remind him at least once a week. "Eh it was worth a shot, so now why are you even thinking about this offer? You should have just said yes right from the get go". I sit their draft turning up the radio "WHAT RUSH? I CANT HEAT YOU! THE MUSIC IS LOUD" he turns down the radio and comes to an abrupt stop as we found a parking at school. " Val please just take the offer up. We know that your nervous because you don't think your art work is not that great. Trust me it is great, and I'm not just saying that because I am your friend." Rush gets out the door and tells me to lock the doors once I get out. As I sit their I decide I will take the offer up. I get out the jeep grab my bag and as I close the door I turn around and walk straight into something hard, and then I feel hands grab me by my shoulders so I don't fall over.
"You better watch where you are going. Ms.Redd." I know that voice and I don't want to look up because I know who it is. This is embarrassing.
