Broken Heart

Chapter 9

My life has completely fallen apart once again. Once my parents found out I was pregnant they kicked me out of the house and now I have to live with Alyssa. Her family was happy to take me in and I am so grateful that I have them in my life. When I told Matt he broke up with me and told me he wanted nothing to do with the baby. His friends told me he got me drunk on purpose and nocked me up on purpose as well. So yea this is what I get for trying. For now on I know not to be happy because if I get happy then something bad will happen and make me depressed again.

My parents called me today and said if I got an abortion they would let me come back home but I declined. There is a human being inside of me and I wouldn't be able it live with myself if I got an abortion. I would rather die then get an abortion. I don't plan on adopting either. I wouldn't want to adopt it because this is my baby and I can't let it live the life it doesn't want to. I know it's going to be really hard taking care of a baby and going to school but I will figure it out.

" Hey babe," Alyssa said when I walked into her living room.
" Hey girl," I said. I noticed her looking down at my stomach and I gave her a weird look. " What are you looking at?" I say putting my hand on my stomach.
" Nothing, it's just kinda... Weird thinking that there's actually a little human being inside of you" she's says with a small chuckle.
" I know right, I can't believe it either." I say and look down at my stomach. There wasn't a huge ass bump but u could tell sense I'm so skinny that I got a little something.
" When do you find out what it is?" She asks.
" I'm not sure actually, soon I think." I say.
" That's good" she says with a sweet smile.

It was my next appointment and I find out the sex of the baby. I was kinda nervous. I didn't know what to expect. As I pull into the hospital my nerves grow, I look down at my phone before getting out of the car and heading into the hospital.
I told the lady at the front desk my name and she gave me some papers she told me I had to fill out. I thanked her and say down on an empty chair. I start to fill out the papers and soon enough I was finished. I handed the papers back to the nice women and sit back down.

About 10 minutes later the door connected to the office area opened and a lady came walking out slightly calling my name. I stand up anxiously and tuck my long blonde her behind my ear. I walk over to her and she takes me to a room with a big chair with a tv next to it. She tells me to sit in the chair and I do as I'm told.
" So are we gonna find out the sex of the baby or do you want to be surprised" she says with a kind smile.
" I'm gonna find out" i say nervously. She must have noticed my nervousness and said, " don't be worried hun, it will be over before you know it" she says with a smile. Damn this chick is always smiling. It's probably only to make me feel more comfortable and safe but still like calm down women.

The appointment was finally over and I was on my way back to Alyssa's house. I was excited to tell her what the baby was gonna be. She's going to be so happy. Even though I'm 16 and pregnant this is a really exciting day for me.

I finally get home and I open the door and head to the living room. There I see Alyssa sitting on the couch and when she notices me walking in she jumps up and rushes towards me.
" So...... What are you having!" She says with a excited smile.
" It's a... Girl."
