I was looking at the rolls of fabrics in the store's basement. This place was my sanctuary, my little heaven. Nothing bad could happen here and I made sure everyone was safe and comfortable here. I pulled a large cart with me as I placed certain rolls of fabrics that would look good on her.

I couldn't stop thinking about what Sara had said. She sounded so genuine I felt awful for not saying anything back but it was all so sudden for me. I can't believe she actually still remembers what happened. never really thought she would ask forgiveness but it wasn't all her fault either.

The first time I meant her I was just friend's with Alba. My family wasn't rich. My father was hospitalized in high school and my mom was the janitor for the school. Everyone knew who my mom was . . . The school's janitor. I was bullied and treated badly for being the son of the school janitor. But I was proud of my mother. She never gave up for me or for dad so it didn't bother me as much. Alba was the only one who showed me respect. She treated me like a regular person.

I remember when she made a fund with the help of her parents to help pay for my college tuition in fashion. I tried to pay them back of course because of my prideful ideals, no thanks to my dad. Alba likes to act like she doesn't know what I'm talking about. She's a good friend like that. I was able to build my store also with the help of her parents. I tried to pay it back again but they just said it was an 'investment' Because of it I was able to pay my father's medical and funeral bills and cost and soon later for my mother's funeral costs. She was there to clean up my depressed home when my dad and mom passed and was there when I just needed someone to be there. I'm glad to have found a friend like her.

On the other hand her sister was a different story.

She was a popular girl, always surrounded by boy's and girls. She was known for being athletic, pretty and a heartbreaker. I never really cared for her. I saw her from a distance and I preferred it like that. Whenever I visited Alba she would take any opportunity to get close to me.

I finished helping Alba with her eyeliner. "Okay so my dad said we could take a car over there also he gave me one of his credit cards to spend here's the catch . . . I have to be home by 5:30" she sat down on her bed with a magazine in her lap. "You are such a daddy's little girl" I teased which made me smile but Alba rolled her eyes.

"Yeah I am but that also means daddy's little girl has power. It's crazy what I could get away with!" I lay down next to her. "Anyways I kinda wanna get some dumplings or maybe spicy chicken feet. I heard of this new Chinese restaurant and they say it's really good!" I smirk "you really wanna spend your money on food" she blushed looking away from me "so what! chubby people have cravings too" I pulled her into a hug "don't get upset I just find it amusing your family is practically loaded with money and instead of spending it on designer things you spend it on simple things"

"Alba and Alexander sitting on a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G first comes love then comes marr-" I didn't even finish my song when I felt a pillow hit my head. "shut up . . . I'm just friends with him!" "yeah sure whatever and pigs fly and cows are pink" she turned her body away from me but I knew I made her blush "when are you going to confess" she groaned "hopefully never" I rolled my eyes. "I get your confidence is almost non-existent but you got to tell him!" She only responded with a groan.

"Let's just go before my dad decided to not let me out anymore" I followed her out when her mother called for her into another room. Leaving me there to wait. "Hey there Kai" I felt flustered and annoyed "oh! . . hey Sara" "so! when are you going to take me out on a date?" She teased me. It's like she could smell annoyance or flusteredness as she leaned in closer to my face. "I can't say I ever want to," she scoffed with a smile before walking away. "I'll get you Kai don't worry you'll fall they all do" I watched her go. She was right, they all fell for her. In all honesty she's pretty, strong and smart who wouldn't fall for her.
