When they got to the table, Herbert helped both Kris and Luna take a seat. "Thank you" the two responded in return.

"You sit there na lang" Kris told Herbert, which he gladly obeyed.

Kris was about to put food on Herbert's plate, but then he stopped her. "Ako na. Ako ng bahala mag serve for the both of you"

"But you're the bisita" Kris said slightly refusing Herbert's offer.

"Ako na po. Just let me" Herbert insisted which Kris responded with a smile.

"Mommy, seems to me like Tito Herbert wants to show off" Luna said, teasing Herbert. Which made them laugh.

"Looks like it" Kris agreed.

"Ay ako naman pinagtulungan?" Herbert chuckled. "Is that enough or you want more?" He asked Kris.

"Yes, enough na. Thank you"

"Okay. Oh kain ka na. And now for Luna. What do you want?" He asked.

"This and this too, Tito. Thank you" Luna politely said.

"Okay. There, tell me lang if enough na"

"Okay now that's enough, Tito. Thank you." She said, smiling.

"Okay. Sige, hmm ano bang okay dito? Any suggestions po, Madam?" He asked Kris.

"Well everything taste nice for sure. But that one, I cooked that. So baka lang you wanted to taste"

Herbert pointed the food Kris suggested. "Ito? Ay aba edi damihan natin yan" He said. Then after a while, he started to eat as well.

"So?... Masarap?" Kris asked. It took Herbert a while to respond which made her worry. "Hala hindi masarap?"

He tried to troll her by making facial expressions. But then he laughed after a while. "Biro lang! Aba syempre masarap. I mean, ikaw pa ba eh basta luto mo sarap na sarap ako" Herbert said taking another spoon full.

"Grabe ka. Pinakaba mo 'ko ah. I thought you didn't like it eh" Kris said pouting.

Herbert chuckled. "Was there ever a time na hindi ko nagustuhan luto mo? Matic na yun of course basta ikaw nagluto, masarap"

"Asus! Bolero" Kris said, making them laugh.

More random chitchats after when Herbert decided to open a topic where they can get to know each other, plus a way for him to segue his real agenda for tonight. Which is asking Luna's permission.

"So Luna, how's school so far? I heard you're doing great. Top 1! Congrats!" Herbert said, not realizing he even sound so proud for a second.

Luna on the other side scratches her neck all of a sudden, a habit whenever she feels shy because of a sudden compliment. "Uhm thank you, Tito. But yeah, so far doing good. Doing my best po so that Mommy would be prouder" Luna said, smiling.

"Aww I'm always proud of you. You know that" Kris said.

"Yeah, thank you" She chuckled shyly.

"Grabe, nakaka-proud naman yung ganon. Sarap sa feeling 'no?" He asked looking at Kris.

"Of course" Kris answered.

Herbert smiled in return. "How's swimming? You have other hobbies pa aside from that?" He continued to ask.

"Oh swimming. Well it's tiring but at the same time, fun. Actually I've been competing po ever since I was like... 8, I guess. And then like next week, I have a competition. Kaya po I've been training harder these past few days"
