As soon as I got home, I immediately went to my daughter's room and as I expected I found her sleeping soundly already. I went to her and sat on the side of her bed. Looking at my daughter, suddenly I remembered what just happened a while ago. How our conversation went well and how we laughed and smiled at each other just like the good old days.

Despite of our awkward situation before that, I was actually surprised that the awkwardness we felt beforehand faded just like that. But that also made me think. How can he even act like that towards me? Acting as if nothing happened between the two us in the past. Anyway, whatever happened to us in the past wasn't big of a deal to be honest. Or is it? One thing's I'm sure of right now and that is I moved on already a long time a go.

While caressing Luna's face she suddenly woke up so I gave her a smile.

"Hello, sweetheart. Did I woke you up? Sorry" as I kissed her temple she hugged me and gave me a peck on my cheek.

"No, Mommy. I missed you. What time is it? You came home from work? How are you?"

"Okay one by one lang. But first of, I missed you too. I'm not sure with the time but I think it's already past midnight and yes I came from work few minutes ago. How am I? I'm fine. How about my baby?"

"Okay good. I'm also fine, Mommy. It's just that, I really missed you" she gave me another kiss on the cheek while still not letting go from the hug. She doesn't fail to make me melt with how naturally malambing she is. She got that from me, trust me hahaha.

"Aww well I missed my baby so much too. Anyway, I think you should resume your sleep. Goodnight. I love you" while giving her a sweet kiss on her cheek, she let go of our hug and she quickly get back to her sleeping position and closed her eyes as well

"Goodnight, Mommy. I'm so sleepy. Go sleep na din"

"Okay I'll sleep na. But before that, I think you forgot something"

"Oh yeah I did. Sorry I'm so sleepy na kasi. I love you too to the moon and back!" she said while smiling and her eyes still closed. "Now shooshoo and sleep already, Bernadette. You might get wrinkles oh no!" her giggle made me laugh more. This funny girl never fails me.

"Ewan ko sayo. I'll go ahead na. Sleep tight" as soon as she gave me a thumbs up as a response, I made my way outside and went to my room.

Doing my usual routine everyday when I got home, I went my way to the bathroom and took a half bath which really helps me reduce all the stress I got from work. After that, I prepared myself for bed and as soon as I finished, I went and sat on my bed, got my phone and do a last minute check on it before I go to sleep.

While checking my social medias, something popped up at my screen showing a message from an unknown number.

Unknown number: "Hello! I hope you got home safely"

"Sorry but who's this?"

Unknown number: "Grabe ganon ba talaga kadali sayo na kalimutan ako? Joke! Biro lang yun pinapatawa lang kita hahaha"

What? I don't get whoever this is I'm texting with is saying. Weird.

"?"

Unknown number: "Ay hindi natawa? Grabe. May ginagawa ka or maybe patulog na? Can I call?"

"Who's this first?"

Unknown number: "You'll know naman right ahead once pumayag ka na tawagan kita"
