As soon as I entered my dressing room, I sighed. I sighed because finally, I felt relieved and relaxed now. At last, my encounter with him is now over. I still can't believe that I overcame that interview with him that easily. I thought at first it will be one of those interviews where it seemed to be so "pilit" or awkward. But thankfully it turned out good and professional. While resting at my vanity my phone beeped and a smile automatically grew up on my face. It was the love of my life calling that's why I immediately answered it.

"Hello, sweetheart. It's already late. Why aren't you sleeping pa?"

"Mommy, it's fine. It's not like super duper late naman eh. Besides, I called kasi I wanted to check on you. It's already late, Bernadette. Why are you still not on your way home?" I giggled. This girl. This precious girl who's the only person who can even call me by my second name and I wouldn't be pissed off about it. She really doesn't fail to make my heart melt everytime.

"Bernadette ka dyan. Madam, to tell you that the show just finished less than an hour ago. Also, I'm on my way home na" I told her while still giggling at how she scolded me in a joking way a while ago which I reciprocated to.

"Hmm okay fine. Understood. Anyway, no more side trips na for you, Mommy. You should go home and rest already. It's already past your curfew, Cinderella" she joked while laughing. This girl's humor is so undeniable. Well, I'm not that surprised anyway.

"Fyi, shouldn't I be the one saying that to you? It's already past your sleeping time. You have school tomorrow. You need to wake up early, little missy"

"Okay I give up. Fine I'll sleep na after this call. If and only if, you'll promise me na you'll go home na after that and tomorrow you'll come with me sa school. Come on, Mommy. That wouldn't take so much of your time naman eh"

"I promise. I already told and promised you about that, right? And of course I don't want to break my promise to my baby. So yes I would go home na right away and I'll be coming with you tomorrow for that event of yours sa school. So paano ba yan? Mommy promised already"

Finally, she ended the call already. I looked at myself in the mirror and I'm not even aware that I'm smiling so much while talking to her. My daughter is literally my world.
