You reached the edge of your driveway and before you could even get the words to come out of your mouth, he looked you up and down and said "let's make breakfast" in a slightly domineering tone, with that look in his eye that you saw earlier. He took the keys out of your hand before you could even answer, unlocking and opening the door. You just followed behind him, not sure how Hotch was reading your mind or what would happen next.

You turned back to close the door, you heard pots and pans clunking around as Hotch raided your kitchen. It was odd to see so many different sides of this man. He could be so bossy and rude at work sometimes, and so kind and friendly other times. And then he got that look in his eyes, that was dark and aggressive and so hot. But now, he was acting damn near like a teenage boy. "I know you bought eggs yesterday at the store, where do you keep them in this organized fridge?" he called out. You just laughed to yourself. "Nevermind, found them." You kicked off your shoes and made your way to him.

You watched intently has he cracked four eggs into the pan he already had out on the stove top. He was careful not to make a mess, and made sure to put things back where he found them. While he was standing at the stove, leaning against the counter, waiting for the eggs to cook, he looked you up and down and then back up to your lips.

"Screw it" he said as he grabbed your lower back pulling you in, he grabbed your face, lifting it so you were looking at him and all of the sudden his lips were on yours. It was a hot, passionate kiss. Your mouths moved together like they were made for each other. His tongue slipping past your teeth as he pulled you in even closer, you were practically melting into him. And then he pulled away.

His lips were swollen and bright pink from the force of the kiss and his eyes were lustful. He casually went back to what he was doing.

"What was that for?" you questioned.

"You think you can walk around the Bureau in clothes like that, practically fall on top of me twice, and make comments to me like you do, without me wanting to kiss you?"

"Well, I'm glad you finally got the hint." you responded daringly.

"Y/N, I got the hint long ago. I was just waiting for you to let me in."

"What do you mean by that?" you questioned.

"Well, you went on dates with other people, flirted with men right in front me, but I always knew there was something there" he replied, putting his hand on your face and rubbing your cheek, "I just had to wait until the time was right for you. Until you were ready. Me training for this triatholon and you being a seasoned runner just happened to be the best timing."

You couldn't even speak. You didn't even realize he had paid attention to all of your activities outside of work, but if the attraction has been there then it made sense.

He chimed in again, worried by your silence as he removed the pan from the stovetop, "I also didn't know how I felt dating someone from the bureau, let alone my subordinate. That is and will be hard to work through."

You still didn't reply, millions of thoughts were going through your brain. The confirmation that you were not the only one with strong feelings in this situation was a lot to take in. Hotch was just a crush from the beginning of your career in the FBI, and these last three days changed that so quickly.

He turned around and faced you, butting into your thoughts one last time, "I don't care if it will be hard, I want to see where this goes."

You snapped out of the daze you were in, and your eyes shot up to meet his. You're not sure what came over you but Aaron gave you a sense of confidence you never knew you were missing. This time you pulled him into a kiss. His lips soft and gentle on yours as you pushed him back into the counter. His hands were freely roaming your body as you gripped his shoulders. Your right hand moved up to the side of his neck, as his tongue entered your mouth. You moved your thumb back and forth, barely adding pressure to the vein. He moved his hand up your back, and grabbed you by the hair at the base of your neck, pulling your head back away from his kiss.

"You better watch what you're doing with that hand, Y/N" he said into your ear, sending chills down the whole left side of your body. You decided to squeeze a little bit harder, just to mess with him. He quickly grabbed your hand and pinned it behind your back. "I am the boss here, you'll learn" he said then his lips met yours once again, leaving behind a slow yet gentle kiss. He turned around and put the eggs on two plates for both of you.

You both sat on the couch to eat, your brain only able to focus on getting the food into your mouth and everything that just happened with Aaron. Out of your periphreal you began to notice him looking up at you, eyebrows furrowed, as if he was trying to read your mind. You realized you never gave him a verbal reply after he confessed his feelings for you.

"I want to see where this goes too, Aaron. I like being around you."

"I enjoy being around you too, Y/N" he smiled, taking his last bite of food. He stood up and took your also empty plate out of your hand, putting them in the dishwasher.

He looked down at his watch, "I have to get going, Jack will be over soon. I'll have him until the early afternoon tomorrow. Let's get together at 1."

You nodded your head in agreement. He walked over to you and leaned down, placing his hands on the couch cushions on either side of you. He looked you in the your eyes for a moment, then placed a quick kiss on your lips. You turned to watch him make his way to your front door, bending over to put his shoes on. You couldn't help but admire how hot he looked doing such a simple task. He noticed you staring and just smirked at you.

"See you tomorrow, Y/N" he said as he made his way out the door.

You felt like you were dreaming.
