CHAPTER SEVEN

Saturday came along with a banging hangover making me regret the amount of alcohol I drowned yesterday at the party one of our gang members threw.

And so as I was waiting for my hangover potion also known as coffee, I hoped on the counter and sat with my legs cris-crossed discarding the fact that I'm only dressed in an oversized sweatshirt and my panties.

Hunter came walking in only wearing some low hanging grey sweatpants as I was putting my hair up in a messy bun

"Morning" he said giving me a smile as he headed towards the cupboard taking out a mug for himself earning a slight nod from me followed by a groan as the headache increased.

He chuckled as he walked to the fridge and took the aspirin out with the pitcher of water, his hair was still dripping water from the shower he probably just had, muscles on display, and oh the way his muscles flexed.

He turned around and I immediately moved my gaze so he doesn't catch me drooling over his back muscles

"Hows the hangover " he asked pouring both of us coffee along two cups of water

"Nothing new, I'll get over it soon" I said shrugging before thanking him for the coffee

No I'm not an alcoholic but I do party a lot and what's a party without drinking.

"Here you go princess " he said giving me an aspirin tablet with the cup of water

"Gracias buen señor" i said in spanish ~thank you kind sir~

"You know spanish?" He raised an eyebrow

"Italian,Arabic, Spanish and english". I said with a nod, this was probably the first time in the time I've known him that I've spoken in another language

He raised an eyebrow and sat down infront of me on the stool

" well yeah I'm quarter Italian, quarter Lebanese, quarter Mexican and quarter American" i said

"Damn" he whistled making me chuckle

"Well, you already know I'm half Italian" he started "So I guess we have more than one thing in common" he ended with a chuckle followed by my own.

"So what are we gonna do today" I asked before taking a sip of my coffee

"Wanna swim? The heaters are on and the weather is good enough." he said after a while of thinking shrugging

"Sure, you can go ahead, I'll change and follow." I said already getting up, refilling my cup with coffee before heading to my room.

After pulling on my white and blue swimsuit I threw on an oversized almost see-though white button up and took two towels with me, just in case Hunter didn't bring one out with him

"Get in! The water is good" he said as soon as he noticed me, and that's exactly what i did after placing the towels, my phone and coverup on the beach chair

"Oh how I love warm water" i said after resurfacing Only realizing how close we were when I felt his hot minty breath on my face

Our eyes locked and I noticed us moving closer to each other, his eyes dropped to my lips and then went up to my eyes and I couldn't stop my self from doing the same.

Just as the distance between out lips neared non existence the doorbell rang startling us making us pull away

"Fuck" he swore while I uttered a "Holy shit"

"I'll get it" he said as he started to move towards the edge of the pool, and I swear I heard him mumble a "I'll get their life too"

I pulled myself under the water as i felt my body heat raise. I was about to kiss him. I really was about to kiss Hunter.

I wonder how would his lips feel against mine?

Just as that though circled through my traitorous mind, my eyes went wide and I gasped, forgetting I was under water and swallowing some in the process making me surface quickly.

"Dom! Do you know how much you got me worried?!" Kayle's voice sobered me out of my coughing fit

"What?" I asked, giving him a confused look

" I called you like 100 times! and you wouldn't pick up I thought something happened " he said in a stern voice as his expression held relief

"Ohh I forgot to take my phone off silent, sorry bro didn't mean to worry you" I explained apologetically as I come out of the water before pulling him into a hug that he returned

"Sorry I got your shirt wet" i said sheepishly Making him shake his head and chuckle.

"It's nothin anyway now that i see your okay, I'll take my leave" he turned around and started walking but I quickly caught his wrist preventing him from going

"Wait! what were you calling about?" I asked

"Oh, right" he chuckled sheepishly before continuing "we're having a bonfire tonight at Maya and I's" he finished making me nod

"What time?" I asked walking over to the beach chairs before pulling on the cover-up

"Be there by 9, and you can stay at ours, we all know how our bonfires end up " he said making me laugh as we reminisced those times, it's been a while

"Alright, well see you later Kay" I said before hugging him goodbye and giving him a peck on the cheek

"So, how do your bonfires tend to end?" asked Hunter raising an eyebrow after showing Kay out

The memories of many bonfires came back making me laugh and shake my head

"You'll have to see for yourself" i said taking my coverup off before jumping back in the pool.

The earlier incident was forgotten, or we acted like it was as we swam and sunbathed for the rest of the day.

By nine we were both dressed, me in grey sweatpants, a grey ribbed halter neck cropped tank top and grey Vans classic skate shoe; him in black sweatpants, grey shirt that's peaking from under his black hoodie and black Vans.

"Yo Kayle open the damn door" i said laughing as Hunter beside me chuckled at our childishness

"What's the passcode peasants? No pass, no opening!!" Kayle said in an extra deep voice cracking up at the end

"Open this fucking door before i open it AND your head myself " i said pulling as much seriousness into my voice as i could

The door flew open faster than you can say "Boom" as he believed my words making me chuckle

I kissed his cheek in greeting "Good, you still have some sense!" I said before cracking up all over again,
Hunter followed behind, after greeting Kay, with our overnight bag slung over his shoulder

We went to the backyard and found everyone already sitting around the already set bonfire

"Hey guys" I waved while Hunter nodded as we got greetings in return, before we sat down with Hunter sitting to my right and Nat to my left.

"Hey babe" she kissed my cheek

"Ciao bella" I said as I leaned and gave her a side hug

" i see your talking Italian bambino" she said
~ baby~

Seeing as the guys needed extra classes and every time I said something they needed to use google translate they decided to take up Italian and Spanish some years ago

I barely use arabic although i know the language just as good as the other three

"yes ragazza"
~yes girl~

"Well you look hella sexy when you talk in Italian " JJ said making all of us chuckle except Hunter who was shooting draggers his way

"Anyway," Kayle started an evil look on his face "who wants to know what Dom did when she had her first crush ...?"
