when louis walked out he stopped and thought about something. making the decision to do it he walked right back into the bathroom.
he went right up to harry and crushed him in a hug.
harry was confused at first but then hugged him back tightly.
"i'm so sorry you went through that harry" louis said
"you already said that lou" harry chuckled
"i know, i just wanted you to know i'm sorry" louis said
he felt harry nod and only got out of the hug when he heard harry quietly cry.
"hey" louis said cupping harrys face "why are you crying?"
harry shrugged and didn't say anything.
"harry you can tell me" louis said softly
harry looked louis in his eyes and sighed. "i haven't been hugged since the first time i went to rehab" he whispered
"what?" louis furrowed his eyebrows "your mum or dad didn't hug you after not seeing you for three months?"
harry shook his head "sometimes i think they say they love me just to say it and not because they actually love me"
"why do you think that?" louis asked
"i'm not ready to tell you what i said to my mum when i blew up" harry said starting to cry again
"you don't have to. not until you're ready" louis said and hugged harry tightly again
" i missed you louis" harry said after a few minutes of them hugging
"i missed you too" louis smiled "now we should probably get out of the bathroom before someone thinks something"
harry laughed and nodded. they walked out after harry made sure you couldn't tell he was crying.
"thank god!" they both heard which made them turn around. it was niall.
"what?" louis asked
"you guys are walking together. so i'm gonna assume you talked?" niall said
"yea we talked" louis said smiling
"great! see i told harry that you wouldn't be mad about the 'losing his phone' story" niall grinned
louis stared. so did harry lie to louis or to niall? he was really hoping it was to niall. "yea, no i wasn't mad and we kind of came to the conclusion that i'm very dramatic"
niall laughed "okay well liam offered to drive me home so i'll see you later"
"bye" harry and louis said at the same time
"so who'd you lie to?" louis asked facing harry
"niall. it's not like i don't trust him but i just felt better telling him half the truth and you the whole truth. you are the one that got hurt the most" harry said
louis nodded. he believed harry. "okay well i better get going, jace is probably getting impatient"
harry nodded "yea, no you better get home"
louis smiled "see you tomorrow haz"
"bye lou" harry smiled and watched louis walk away
when louis got outside he immediately saw his boyfriend in his car patiently waiting.
"hey, sorry i took so long" louis said
"it's no problem. so you guys talked?" jace said
"yea" louis nodded
"and? are you guys back to being besties" jace smiled
"i wouldn't say besties but we're friends again" louis smiled back
"that's good" jace kissed louis' cheek "i know back then you said you didn't wanna talk about him but then at lunch i assumed he was who had you all sad freshman year"
"yea. but we talked it out and now i know why it happened" louis said as jace started to drive
"care to tell me?" jace asked
"it's not my place to tell you" louis said
"that's fine" jace said
they drove to louis' house is complete silence. once they pulled up louis asked jace if he wanted to come in but jace said that he had things to do and that he'll see louis tomorrow. so with a final kiss goodbye louis got out of the car and went into his house.
"mum i'm home!" louis yelled
"in the kitchen!" jay replied
"hey" louis said to his mum
"hey hon. how was school?" jay asked
"eventful" louis sighed
"how come?" jay wondered
"well for one harry is back" louis said looking at his mum
"what?" jay asked surprised
louis nodded "yea. i was kinda hateful towards him but we talked and he explained what happened and we're friends again"
"that's wonderful! i cant believe his mum didn't tell me they were moving back" jay said with a frown
"probably forgot" louis shrugged. he wasn't going to tell his mum harrys business
"well wash your hands and help me with dinner" jay instructed
louis washed his hands and helped his mum with dinner. which turned out to be delicious.
"i'm gonna go shower and get ready for bed. i'm kind of tired" louis said after he washed the dishes
"okay" jay said "goodnight bub"
"goodnight, love you" louis said and kissed his mum's cheek
"love you too" jay smiled
louis went to shower and when he got out he saw he had a text from an unknown number
unknown: hey lou! it's harry
louis smiled and saved harrys contact and texted back
to harry: hey harry. sorry i didn't text back right away i was getting ready for bed
harry: going to sleep this early?
to harry: i'm kind of tired but if you want to text for awhile we can
harry: no it's okay. you should get your beauty sleep
to harry: oh you're so right
harry: lol. goodnight lou
to harry: goodnight harry :)
with that louis put his phone on the charger and went to bed. completely forgetting to do his nightly call with jace.
