Hayes POV
After school, I was walking to the front of the school with Jamie. Nash came out of no where with Daniel. So me and Jamie pretended to argue. Jamie went with Daniel home and me and Nash waited for mom.
Nash got a text
"Hayes, mom said we have to walk home cause she can't find her keys,"
"Okay," I say smiling, I've been smiling all day
"Dude, what's up with you smiling? You've been smiling all day." He asked
"I'm just so happy right now"
"Why?"
"The best thing happened to day-" I got cut off
"Coming to school?"
"Nononono, me and Jamie are friends again"
"Really? You still like her right?"
"Yess, that's why I'm soo happy"
We got home, and I seen Jamie coming out of Daniels house. She waved, and I smiled. She went up to this guy and he hugged her. Man, that better not be her boyfriend or something.
I started walking over there
"Hey Jamie"
"Hey Hayes," she hugged me " pi just want to let you know I missed you again," she says still hugging me. I hugged back.
"Hayes, I want you to be my best friend again. And who cares if Daniel knows"
"Ok"
She hugged again "I love you Hayes"
I smiled, but I knew she meant it by best friend love
"I love you too Jamie"
It's only been the first day but I think I should ask already. Nonononono I have to wait a while.
