Seeing Him Again

One Year Later

     "Kagome! I'm tired!" Kagome smiles and laughs.

     "Hiroshi! Stop complaining. Come on." Hiroshi drags his feet across the ground spreading dirt and pebbles everywhere.

     "But we've been walking for hours!" Kagome rolls her eyes. He may be over two hundred years old, she thinks to herself, but he has the maturity of a two year old.

     "We left the village three minutes ago."

     "Oh yeah!" Kagome smiles and hears a loud scream.

     "That's coming from the village!" Kagome turns around and runs back to the small village as fast as she can. Hiroshi catches up quickly. The two arrive to find a huge snake demon wreaking havoc on the village. "Hiroshi! Little help please! Now!" Hiroshi nods and changes into a green and blue dragon and breathes fire on the demon. Kagome takes an arrow from her quiver and notches it into her bow. She takes her aim at the demon's heart and fires, only for the demon to duck making the arrow hit his neck. It screams in pain and walks towards Kagome while she grabs another arrow. Before she can fire it, the demon shoves her into a house. The house falls over on top of her but Kagome stands up anyway. She walks in front of the demon and stands there. She begins to fire another arrow when the demon bites her, poison dripping from it's fangs. Against all her training... Kagome screams as loud as she can in utter terror.

     Kagome ignores the pain that is coursing through her arm, grabs the string, pulls it back, and fires. It hits the demon right in the heart. The demon screams and turns into ashes. She looks at her arm to see it gushing blood.

     "Hiroshi!" The dragon demon, now in the appearance of a 19 year old boy, standing just five inches taller than Kagome, runs to her aid. "Get me out of here. Please." Hiroshi nods and drapes his arm around her waist moving her left arm around his. As he helps Kagome walk, the villagers applaud and cheer.

A Few Miles From The Village

     "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" InuYasha tenses up and yells to Sango, Miroku, and Shippo,

     "It's Kagome!" InuYasha stands up and jumps towards the sound. I'm coming, Kagome. I'll save you.

With Kagome and Hiroshi

     "Ow!" Kagome yelps giving Hiroshi a death glare. He raises his hands in surrender.

     "Well, it's gonna hurt! You were bitten by a snake, I just extracted the poison, and we have to bandage it before you bleed to death." Kagome looks away.

     "Doesn't mean I like it." She says pouting. Hiroshi just laughs and finishes tying her bandage. Kagome turns to look at her best friend. He has long black hair reaching the ends of his shoulder blades, intense violet eyes, a tan complexion, broad shoulders, claws, fangs, and is rather muscular. Kagome admits that he's hot but, he's more of a brother to her. Hiroshi grabs her chin lightly and forces her to look at him.

     "I'm sorry." He says. Kagome smiles.

     "I forgive you. I am hungry though." Hiroshi rolls his eyes and shoves her playfully off the rock, catching her waist right before she hits the ground.

     "You're fine. Does nothing get rid of your appetite?" Kagome shakes her head no. He laughs. "Alright. I'm going to get you some food. Keep walking and when I get something I'll find you. If you need help, use the link, okay?" Kagome nods and Hiroshi kisses her forehead like he always does before running off. Hiroshi and Kagome have a sort of telepathic link. They can read each others thoughts and emotions.
