Ronnie Barnes stepped out of her and Beck's shared car into the Rosewood high school parking lot. Beck and the youngest Barnes Sibling Basil stepped out of the car behind her. Ronnie was not excited to go to school today, not with Alison's disappearance being the main topic around the town of Rosewood yet again. She had considered staying home, not showing her face to the world today, but it was the first day of the school year Ronnie had to show up. Beck handed Ronnie her backpack, before tossing Basil his, and tossing his own over his shoulder. Basil quickly waved goodbye to his older siblings and headed towards the school.

Ronnie took a deep breath, preparing to head towards the school herself, when Beck wrapped his arm around Ronnie's shoulder, "Are you sure you don't want to skip today?" Beck asked, "Because you can take the car and go home,"

"No," Ronnie said, shaking her head, "No I need to stay, beside's it's just a normal day," it wasn't a normal day but it didn't matter.

"If you're sure," Beck said, dropping his arm from around Ronnie and heading toward the high school. Ronnie followed after him, falling into step next to him as the two made their way closer to the school.

"Aria?" the twins heard someone ask, it was Emily both know that voice well. Ronnie looked over to where Emily was walking over to meet Aria. Aria looked different from how she did last year, but of course, she did, the main difference being that last-year Aria had pink streaks throughout her hair.

"Emily," Aria greeted Emily. Ronnie watched the two girls, not sure if she should go over to them or if she should just walk past them into the school because she would have to pass them to reach the door, and they were bound to see her.

"When did you get back?" Emily asked Aria.

"Yesterday," Aria answered.

"I almost didn't recognize you," Emily said, "I think last time we saw each other, you had a pink stripe in your hair."

"Well, when your parents want you to be yourself And you don't know who you are... " Aria said, trailing off.

"You wore it well. You should have called. It's so weird just running into you here." Emily said.

"Oh. Well, we've kind of lost touch, Emily, remember?" Aria said. The girls had lost touch more than Aria knew.

"That's what we had to do," Emily said as the two girls looked away from one another. Aria spotted Ronnie watching the pair talking. Aria smiled at Ronnie sending her a small wave which Ronnie returned leaving Beck and walking over to the pair.
