Ronnie pulled her hair up out of her face as she entered the kitchen at the grille. Ronnie had been working at the grille for about three months now, and although it was the best job, it was better than her last babysitting job. "Welcome back, Lil'red," Ronnie's co-worker, Milo greeted Ronnie as she clocked in. It was her first day back to work since they found Alison's body.

"Good to be back," Ronnie said, grabbing her waitress apron and her notebook. "I need a good distraction."

"Right," Milo said, stretching out the word. Milo was only a couple of years older than Ronnie and was in his first year at Hollis, but for what Ronnie had no idea. "sorry about your friend,"

"Thanks," Ronnie said, it was all she could think to say to that kind of thing.

Milo leaned closer to Ronnie, a smile on his face. "But, if you really need a distraction, I have some grass I could sell ya," he said, Ronnie chuckled.

"Thanks, Milo, but I don't Smoak," Not many more.

"Suit yourself," Milo said, going back to cooking. Ronnie smiled, shaking her head as she exited the kitchen to get to work.

As soon as she exited the kitchen into the dining room, she heard a familiar voice. "I've decided on the class I want to take at Hollis, but it's not for credit, Dad, it's for fun." Spencer was saying, as Ronnie walked past her towards the hostess's stand at the front of the restaurant to get her table assignments.

Ronnie couldn't hear what Spencer and her dad were talking about by the time she got to the hostess's stand. 'Great,' Ronnie thought looking over the table assignment, she was going to be the Hastings waiter. Although Ronnie loved Spencer she wasn't the biggest fan of the rest of the Hasting family.

The bell over the door rang and Aria entered the restaurant. Ronnie looked up at Aria greeting her. "Hey," she said.

"Hey," Aria said.

"hey," Spencer said, walking over to meet the other two girls. "I was going to email you guys when I got home. How weird was that lunch?"

"I'd say on a scale from one to ten, Eleven," Aria said.

"right," Ronnie agreed. "so uncomfortable,". The bell over the door rang again and this time it was Spencer's older sister Melissa who entered, along with a man Ronnie figured was the fiance.

"Is that the new fiance?" Aria asked, voicing Ronnie's thoughts. "Is he as uptight as Melissa?"

"No one's as uptight as Melissa," Spencer answered and the three girls chuckled.
