Letting one final red curl fall into place, Ronnie looked at herself in the mirror and forced a smile onto her face. Thanks to 'A' and Toby, homecoming had gone from a momentous occasion she and Leo would spend together to a night Ronnie was starting to dread. With one final deep breath, Ronnie left the bathroom.

From downstairs, she could hear the boys talking. "why are these things so damn hard to tie?" Beck's frustrated voice said.

"I don't know what to tell you son, your mother always tied my tie for me," her father said. Coming to a stop on the top step, Ronnie listened as the boys talked.

"Leo, help me out," Beck said, turning from the hallway mirror to face his friend.

"Don't look at me," Leo said, fiddling with his own tie, a silver one to match perfectly with Ronnie's silver dress. "Mine looks awful."

"Who cares? Ties are lame," Basil said, from where he was lying on the couch playing on his DS.

Ronnie let out a small laugh, making her presents on the stairs known, "Ties are not lame, ties are fashionable and formal,".

"Wow, B, you look great," Leo said, coming to meet Ronnie at the bottom of the staircase and holding his hand out to her. Ronnie took her boyfriend's hand and let him guide her over to the other.

"Thanks," Ronnie gave her boyfriend a quick peck on the lip, before tying his necktie for him.

"I think you look ridiculous," Basil added, seating up and watching the girl over the back of the couch.

"Don't listen to him, darling, you look beautiful," Bart smiled at his daughter. Basil rolled his eyes, laying back down on the couch and going back to his game.

"Thank you, Dad," she said to her father, ignoring her little brother, and turning to the other two boys. "we should be going,"

"Wait, first I need a photo," their dad said, looking around for his camera.

"Dad," Beck complained.

"you're not getting out of his one. Now where is my camera?". A hand popped up from the couch, holding up a digital camera. "Oh yes, thanks,". Bart took the camera from his youngest son.
