STEVE took us to the Avengers tower so we could talk to Tony and reason with him about not continuing the cradle project.
We walked into a room and saw Tony Stark and Burce Banner working on The Cradle.
I silently freaked out at the fact that I was looking at Bruce Banner. I mean, I read so many of his books and studied so much of his work at the Hydra base. I couldn't help but admire the amount of intelligence in this one room with Tony Stark and Bruce Banner.
Wanda held onto Pietro's arm and Pietro held onto my hand with his free arm.
"I'm gonna say this once." Steve began.
"How about none-ce?" Tony countered.
"Shut it down!" Steve yelled.
"Nope, not gonna happen."
"You don't know what you're doing."
"And you do? She's not in your head?" Banner angrily asked as he gestured to Wanda.
"I know you're angry." Wanda pressed.
"Oh, we're way past that. I could choke the life out of you and never change a shade."
"Banner, after everything that's happened..." Steve continued.
"It's nothing compared to what's coming!" Tony argued.
"You don't know what's in there." Wanda said.
"This isn't a game!" Steve bickered. Pietro sighed before he ran around the room, unplugging everything. Everyone shut up as they stared at him.
"No, no. Go on. You were saying?" Pietro asked. I jumped as a gunshot was heard and a bullet shot up from the floor. The glass floor underneath Pietro broke and he fell through.
"Pietro!" Wanda called as my eyes widened.
"I'm rerouting the upload." Tony informed.
Rodgers threw his shield at him, then a metal hand attached to Stark's and he blasted Steve. Wanda was about to do something when Banner wrapped his arm around her neck.
