I pulled up to the house and saw Robbie on the steps. I got throwing my bag over my back. "Get back in the car." He commanded.
"Robbie I just got here." I said.
"Just get in." He commanded.
"No." I said. He grabbed my arm and guided me to the family car. "Come on." He said.
"Ryan let me go." I yelled. He tossed me into the car and got in starting the car and pulling out of the driveway. "Where are you taking me?" I asked.
"You act like I'm kidnapping you." He said.
"Technically you are." I said.
"Technically I'm not." He said. I rolled my eyes and buckled my seatbelt. "Where are you taking me?" I asked.
"To see someone." He said.
"Who?" I asked.
"Can you just trust me?" He asked. I sat back in my seat and let him drive in piece down unfamiliar roads. I wasn't afraid because I trusted Robbie, but I was curious as to who we were meeting. We pulled up to a cemetery near the states borders. "What are we doing here?" I asked.
"Trust me." He said getting out of the car. I followed him into the cemetery when he pulled out his phone and texted 'we're here'. I gripped Robbie's hand and he gave it a reassuring squeeze. "Are you okay?" Tristan asked. I saw him and my heart skyrocketed. I ran away from Robbie and into Tristan's arms. I had been so scared, but we were here to see Tristan. Tristan hugged me back and I buried my head in the crook of his neck. "Why didn't you tell me?" I asked Robbie. "Sorry it was a surprise. Now you guys can sneak and see each other once your parents put the band on you guys." Robbie said.
"Only if you want to see me." Tristan said.
"Are you asking me to go steady with you?" I asked.
"Maybe. No pressure." Tristan said.
"Of course I'll go steady with you." I said. We leaned in to kiss when we heard tires of another car ride along the gravel. "Destiny we gotta go." Robbie said.
"See you at school." I said grabbing Robbie's hand.
"See you." Tristan said. Robbie and I got back into the car driving home. "That's was kind of awkward for me." Robbie said while I laughed. We arrived back home and my parents plus Robbie's parents were just standing there. "Why does everyone look so serious?" I asked.
"You moving." Charmaine said.
"What." I said.
"You must stay hidden with your family. So you'll be moving." Charmaine said.
"I'm not leaving Robbie." I said.
"I won't let her leave." Robbie said standing in front of me protectively. "Eddy do it." Chloe said. Eddy nodded and looked Robbie straight in the eyes. "You won't remember Destiny no matter how hard you try." Eddy said. "No." I said.
"Do you understand?" Eddy asked.
"Yes, I won't remember Destiny no matter how hard I try." Robbie said.
"Robbie." I said. Eddy looked away and Robbie looked at me. "Hi, I'm Ryan." Robbie said.
"Hi." I said.
"Mom, dad I'll be in my room." He said racing upstairs. "Okay." Charmaine said. Once he was gone I cried and Eddy wrapped his arms around me. I wanted to push him away, but I was broken. My brother couldn't remember me anymore. I couldn't call him Robbie anymore because he'd never know how I knew his family nickname. "We already packed your things. There all in the car." Chloe said. I nodded and then hugged Charmaine and Harold. "You be better off there." Charmaine said.
"You'll love it." Harold said.
"Don't forget me." I said.
"We never could." Charmaine said.
"Wouldn't dream of it pumpkin." Harold said. "Go wait in the car." Chloe said. Chloe and Eddy were going to wipe Charmaine and Harold's memory clean of me. I saw their Jeep Grand Cherokee and got in the back seat. Eddy and Chloe soon steeped out of the house and got into the car. "Ready for your new life?" Chloe asked.
"It's not like I have a choice." I said.
