Cole's Pov
"Are sure?", I ask Luna in surprise, I can't believe Luna is telling me to help Char.
"Yes", she nods.
Everyone thinks that Luna is mean, and doesn't care about anyone, but it's not true. Yes, she is mean, but she is also soft at the heart, which makes her a compassionate and most wonderful person. I know it must have been very hard for her to tell me to help Char.
I hug her and I whisper in her ear," I am proud of you, Lu",
"Thank you", she says.
I cup her face in my palms, and I tell her," And I love you",
"I love you too", she replies, and I place a soft kiss on her lips.
" Now go and help her", she orders.
"You are coming with me", I hold her hand in mine, and I take her to Char.
" Char", I say with a smile.
"Cole", Char, looks at me then at Luna in surprise.
I pick up Char's sleeper and place it on her right elevated feet.
" Thanks", she says with a smile, and then looks at Luna, she is still surprised that I am talking to her in front of Luna.
"Charlotte, how are you?", Luna asks her.
"I am fine",
" Good, if you need any help with anything, don't hesitate to ask me and Cole", Luna tells with a smile.
"What?", Char looks at both of us with wide eyes.
" Yes, we are there for you", I tell her.
"Okay, Thanks",
" Now, let's go to class?", Luna asks.
"Yes!!", Char and I answer in unison.

Luna's Pov
"Good Morning Everyone", Mr. Smith address all of us. He looks at Charlotte and asks," How are you, Charlotte?",
"I am fine, Mr. Smith, I hope I didn't miss much",
" You missed some things, but you will cover them, with the help of your classmates", He says looking at all, "Right class?",
Everyone looks at each other and then say in, unison," Yes Sir",
"So Charlotte last Friday I gave the assignment on 'The Great Gatsby', that assignment will be a presentation and for that, you will need a partner", Mr. Smith tells Charlotte.
"But I don't have any Partner, and I don't know anyone much in this class, except Cole and Luna", she looks at me and then towards Cole.
"Then Cole can be your partner", Mr. Smith tells her.
What?
No!
" But Mr. Smith Cole is my presentation partner", I almost snap at him.
"Yes, Mr. Smith you must have forgotten, but I am Luna's partner" Cole interrupts softly.
"You can be someone else's partner Luna",
" But Why?",
"Because Luna Charlotte doesn't know anybody here, and it will be really helpful in her condition to be paired up with someone whom she knows", He tells me. He is right, but I don't want Cole and Charlotte to pair up.
He adds" And you cannot be her partner because in this presentation I want the male and female point of views, that means Gatsby's and Daisy's point of views and two people can't give Daisy point of view in one presentation",
"If Luna doesn't have any problem, then only Cole and I will pair up", Charlotte says.
I want to help Charlotte, but allowing her to be my boyfriend's presentation partner is too much of a help, but I can't deny her it in front of Cole and everyone, because Charlotte, is the most sympathetic person in this school right now.
And I don't care about everybody. I only care about Cole. When I told him to be there for Charlotte to help her, he was so proud of me. And if I say right now that I don't want him and Charlotte to pair up. Though he will not show it to me, he will be disappointed with me. Within minutes after my firm big decision to tell Cole to help Charlotte, I am regretting that decision, but I can't undo what I said to Cole," Fine Charlotte can pair up with Cole",
"Thank you, Luna", Charlotte says with a smile.
Though I don't want to smile right now, I say with a smile " No problem", I turn to Mr. Smith, "But who will be my partner now",
" I can be", I hear Ray's voice from behind.
"What?", I turn back towards his seat.
" I don't have any partner for presentation, I can be Luna's partner", he shrugs. As if it will not at all be awkward to pair with his ex-girlfriend.
I look at Cole, and he doesn't look at all happy with this idea.
"Luna do you have any problem with Ray being your partner for the presentation", Mr. Smith asks me. Of course, I have a problem he is my ex-boyfriend, but if I don't pair up with Ray I will end up with no partner for the presentation.
I look at Cole and then towards Ray, " No, I don't have any problem with Ray being my partner", I say with a straight face.
